What to do if the site ALT.COM is unavailable?

If ALT.COM works, but you cannot access the site or its individual page, try one of the possible solutions:

Browser cache.
To delete the cache and get the current version of the page, refresh the page in the browser using the key combination Ctrl + F5.

Access to the site is blocked.
Clear your browser cookies and change the IP address of the computer.

Antivirus and firewall. Check that anti-virus programs (McAfee, Kaspersky Antivirus or an analogue) or a firewall installed on your computer do not block access to ALT.COM.

Constant problems logging on,,I've contacted customer service numerous times and they don't respond or when informed, correct issues

addendum to my last comment!

Addendum: the help desk from ALT works....the agents do their best to assist via email and will solve as good as it gets the problems of non-payed (basic profiles) members as well. It can sometimes take a few days, but they respond and will deal with the issue at hand. I have positive experiences on that aspect. So, in short: the army of fakes (only those with a verified label are legit, but most, me inclusive, are not verified with this label which is a personal choice of course....but this freedom of choice comes with a high cost of fakes+catfish on the site!) is a real pain in the ass on ALT, interuptons on ALT are very rare...but there is a lot of work for their IT-Team to sort out the many bugs that cause anomalies in data-processing.
P.S.: perhaps that taking a subscription can bring a better outcome in experience with regards to avoiding fake profiles.....but as long as the site is infested with scammers, together with my user experience and basic membership, I'm not ready to take a subscription...and I know that I'm not the only 1, who thinks/reflects this way. (not a money question, but a matter of principle!). Good luck folks! J.B.

Do you have the time....because it is everything that isn't working properly besides of the infestation of scammers, fakes, catfish, golddiggers and wannabees. 99% in my expierence during +2 years is part of 1 or more mentioned categories. Too much anomalies on the site, algorithm that are not providing the correct data, distances between profiles, date of last visit, and so on and so fort. Changing rules on a regular basis....BUT, the site is extreme good with regards to BLOGS + provided info on those Blogs and ALT respect 100% the freedom of speech which is the main reason why I'm still on it! They have great potential but lack to motivation to intervene against scammers, fakes.....and they are - as new owners of the site- too greedy when it comes to money, membership and providing points to basic members, and also when other profiles offer points, bought for a lot of money, Alt only let you take a small percentage from those received points which is a legalized stealing by them from the donor/receiver. Their is much more to say, but this is in a nutshell the red line of objections and critic from my experience.
