Ohio BMV online not working???

Trying for 2 days to schedule my son’s drivers test through Ohio BMV. Have had a working OHID for several years…am literally logged in with my name in the upper right corner yet cannot proceed with scheduling the test because it “doesn’t recognize me.” Gives me a number to call…but when I do it tells me to go to Ohio BMV online. This is a nightmarish loop! Ugh.

Ohio ID is useless

Perfectly convenient timing for Ohio residents during tax season. Had an account that worked just fine for years and now I can't log in anymore. Account recovery is a lost cause. Made a new account and I can't get past the 2 factor-authentication which is required. Each time I select an option like text, call, or message the form submission fails and it says the code expired... which is weird because I keep getting texts, calls, and emails. This is the worst experience I've ever had trying to log in to any government or state based website. Maybe start paying people adequately that can fix the problem instead of having customer service reps that don't understand what the actual issue is. Unless you're unemployed and have no life I assure you you'll run out of patience very quickly waiting on that customer service line so don't bother calling. I have completely given up. F you Ohio.

OhID

First off the Ohid is a pain in the a$$, I’ve had the same username and password for a couple years. Today it will not let me in. Says my username or password doesn’t match and only options are to change the password and I tried and it still won’t work

Login does not work

Been 2 days now, Trying to check the status of my education license, but can't get it to log me in on several different devices. Does not give an error for my username and password (I have them written down anyway). It just circles me back to login page after loading. Even reset my password just fine, used that password and it did the same. No error, just circle back to login.

Same problem as Don S. Created an account last night and couldn't log in. Thought I would check again this morning. No luck. Can change password and it confirmed my username via email.

OH|ID Login not working

Needed to create an ID to access OH Gov sites. Created the ID and password. Not able to sign in. Have changed PW 3 times. Tried 2 different computers and three different browsers. Get "We didn't recognize the username or password you entered"
But yet can request change password and get new code to allow me to change password.

Same as JWilde for me. Have been having this issue for weeks - created account, can confirm user name and change password but the system never recognizes new PW. They are saying the ONLY way to get help for this is to email profile.help@education.ohio.gov, which I have done 5 days ago with no response. I have spoken to multiple customer service agents, none are able to help me.

Same for me. OH|ID site is not recognizing ID and PW. Reset PW successfully and it still did not recognize ID and PW. Just sends me back to the login screen with out any Error noted.

Tried to log in to unemployment this morning. Redirected to the OH ID page and I see this: "OHID.Ohio.gov is offline for maintenance

OH ID in use already

For anyone getting the OH ID issue you will need to call and reverify your identity. Submit picture of ID, SS card and Bank statement. Reason being is there was a backdoor attempt in hijacking peoples accounts through OH ID and caused peoples accounts to be locked out. The problem will not fix itself! so get ahold of someone asap. Hope this helps

When are you idiots going to get this fixed? Was supposed to be upgraded after covid failures but again State of Ohio can't get anything right! Been waiting past the 21 day bull$hit and still no payment and now can't even go online to claim for this week or check my status of when I will receive my money! What a joke!

Fixed OH ID

**UPDATE**
I called and was on hold for 6 hours. Finally someone answered and was told my OH ID was not linked properly. Not sure why, but they fixed it and filed my week for me. Hopefully this helps someone else ! Good luck y’all.

Tried to login yesterday to file my weekly claim and it tells me OH ID already connected to an unemployment account. Still saying this, haven't been able to file my claim. Call in and can't even get on hold because it says high call volume call back later and hangs up. Online chat is busy and no one has answered my inquiry online. Not sure what else to do at this point.

I've been dealing with this since Wednesday. I've been on hold for over 2 hours so far, just so I can file my claim. There is no way I can do this every Monday. They had scheduled maintenance Saturday that I was hoping would fix the issue with the log in, but sadly no.

Dear unemployment, please have a damn heart and let us know something about our pay!

Why hasn't anyone from the unemployment agency spoke on this issue? At least have some common courtesy and send out a mass email to ease our minds!!! Like hey the website is clearly having issues but dont worry it wont effect your payments!!! Man, I know they dont have to worry about their paychecks and probably DONT care that some of us are relying on the government for our pay this week, but for God sakes, if they can put a automated recording to tell us we cant report fraud , or even talk to a person , to call back then they should be able to but a automated recording letting us know that its their error and they are working on fixing it but its wont effect your pay this week

WHY DOES MY UNEMPLOYMENT SAY THAT MY OHIO ID IS BEING USED ON ANOTHER ACCOUNT

I received a text with a 5 min temporary pin number from OHID, then said if I did not request one then to call unemployment immediately, I DID NOT REQUEST THIS, is tried to call, report fraud and they seriously have a automatic system to say sorry call back again LIKE HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO REPORT A ISSUE!!! THIS IS SERIOUS, I tried to log into my unemployment and get the error messge that my OHID is being used on another account, IM FREAKING OUT, I finally pressed the number as if i was a employer, FINALLY GOT A PERSON, then transfers me to a appointment setting automatic system, that can't get me a appointment till tomorrow, MY bank account was hacked 3 months ago and ill I can think is someone now hack this, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEED MY KIDS OR KEEP MY LIGHTS ON IF I DONT Receive MY UNEMPLOYMENT CHECK TODAY?? WHAT IF I AM IM FACT HACKED AND HAVE TO RELIVE THE PROCESS OF PROVING WHO I AM, im stressed, im sick to my stomach, is finally got to where I can wait on hold for the next available representative, I am now at 40 mins of waiting, like how does the government reinforce another "security" step (OHID) but its doesn't help, HOW CAN YOU REPORT SOMETHING SO DAMN Important TO A GOVERNMENT when they tell you to call back, THEY DONT CARE IF WE ARE INDEED GETTING HACKED AND WONT GET OUR MONEY, HOW DOES A GOVERNMENT LET Their Websites go down and report false errors???? If we reported anything false we would be in jail with a hefty fine to pay, but the government can induce panic on a "secured" website and not even answer the phones about the situation and gets away with it!!!

OHID complete failure!!!!

The unemployment website is complete garbage. The phone system is absolute crap also. You can wait on hold for three hours listening to the same repeated message of how easy it is to sign in online except you can't sign in online that's why you're calling. The difficulty And complications related to these systems seem to be deliberate. I've never seen any other site with this level of failure. We are paying for this Terrible service. Like soon maybe

I was logging in just fine last week.
I called and the wait times are just tedious! can't get through.
But last week, I got through like in 35 minutes, Now it's over 4 hours and still no answer!!

this thing is a joke doesn't work half the time. Hard to file unemployment. Slot of people depend on unemployment plus they have deadlines, hard to do when site doesn't work.
