Wake up folks! Qlinkwireless has been posting emails as well as notices on their site pages concerning the end of ACP/Lifeline program for months now. Congress has Billions for everyone else but us lower income and fixed income US citizens. First, they throttled data speeds to the legal bare minimum of 1-1.5Mbps. (from previous 200+Mbps - 400+Mbps 4G-5G+) I guess this was some marketing genius's idea to push their two-tier paid services. As if I'd trust paying for their service would magically restore previous speeds. Congress will toss billions into that Black Hole of Ukraine, fund both sides of Israeli conflict, billions for the millions of Illegals invading our country, but not a dime for us stupid tax paying chattel. Needless to say, I managed to navigate their never-ending automated menu, finally spoke to someone in some call center in India and had my account removed. There's no way in hell I'm getting screwed twice by Qlinkwireless. If I'm going to have to pay, I'm going with someone dependable.

Does anyone else think it's strange that an AT&T coding error somehow got pushed out and crashed all three wireless carriers at approximately the same time. (Never mind that they are all proprietorial, self-contained networks that disallow Cross talking on broadcast signals.) When the networks recovered, suddenly the data speeds are throttled to a whopping 1.5 Mbps from 200+ - 300+Mbps. I confronted one of their customer support persons who just lied about what was happening and why. I was finally able to get him to admit that they were only required by law to provide 1-1.5 Mbps. Now this provider is offering paid service levels to existing customers. As if I'd ever trust them to actually un-throttle the current lack of data speeds to where they used to be. Makes me wonder how many of the Illegals are being throttled with those nice, pre-paid Government smartphones sucking up unlimited services? This service has proven itself to be pretty damned sketchy after the recent shenanigans. Thank you Congress for discontinuing a vital service we counted on for communications while you send billions to the blackhole of Ukraine, Israel, billions for the invading hordes of Illegals, but not one dime to those of us at home in the United States.

the acp/lifeline program is being phased out and in preparation Qlink deemed it necessary to throttle 5G speeds to 1.5Mbps from the previous 300-400+Mbps. I called tech support and the level one tech flat lied about provisioning speeds. He got flustered when I confronted him with facts and admitted it was the bare legal minimum required by law. Do these jackasses think anyone is going to trust them and buy their prayed levels in hopes of the speeds being restored to what they had been? Seems odd that as the Qlinkwireless acp/lifeline program nears ending it's funding, a catastrophic outage of all 3 Carriers occurs. And just like that, from 300-400Mbps on 4G & 5G+ network, down to the legal bare minimum of just over 1Mbps. I spoke with support about my observation and the level one tech had the nerve to flat out lie about what was going on and why. Congress can approve billions in foreign aid and funding illegals, but not a dime to those of us on fixed incomes that relied on this program for communications. Makes me wonder if our government is capping and throttling the millions of freebie phones the illegals are given. Welcome to Joe Bidens Banana Republic.

why is Qlink suddenly throttling 4G and 5G to the bare minimum of 1Mbps? Until recently, I was getting 200-400+Mbps depending on time of day. There should be a way to sue Q Link. They are being paid for our benefits of cell service and are NOT providing the service. This scam has been going on since January. Though I have unlimited every month it is messed up. And during the latter half of the month when it does work it's very slow and can hardly load anything. Once it gets to 5.0 gb. Bye bye data. I've really enjoyed my service through q Link for a few years. The past 2 months have been a nightmare with them my service stopped data and for almost 3 weeks played the runaround trying to get a hold of them to fix it finally got a hold of them and they said there was nothing they could do. Then a few days later my service started working again. Now it's happened again just stop data with no way to fix it and no help from qlink. I don't want to go through another company hopefully they'll get through whatever issues they're having that's causing these disruptions.

This was such an inconvenience as I rely on my pone to get to and from to work. This is insane and how do I get in touch with someone ab out cancelling my reoccurring monthly bill of $40, idk why I purchased that I thought it would help my service move faster (I purchased moths ago) but sadly that wasn't the case, overall I am sadly disappointed in this company. Many low income families rely on these type of assistance for every day living and to not have an explanation as to what's going on, and having people on hold for hours is quite insane. Hopefully, This can be resolved soon. I had to take matters into my own hands and switch my service which is not a problem for me but I feel bad for those who aren't able to do so. NUMBER PORTING LOCKED

Internet went out at about 8PM yesterday, the 20th, and has not returned. Located in Pahrump NV. Customer service just loops you and the troubleshooting cuts out and starts over. Nothing fixes the issues. They need to just fess up as to what the issue is instead of lying constantly, and now they're not even letting us port our numbers out. We're digital hostages.

I don't know if this will help anyone but I have been without phone service since the 15th. I had an old Motorola phone from 2021 that I didn't get rid of just to try something I put my qlink sim card in this phone and amazingly enough I got phone service back idk it worked it just did !

it sucks bad you call customer service and they don’t do anything except put you through the automated system in a roundabout circle and then tell you to hit believe it’s the number 90 if you wanna talk to somebody and then they give you that spill by 22 high volume demand will have to put you on hold eight minutes later they just hang up on you over and over and f***ing over again I spent six hours calling customer service on Thursday couldn’t ever talk to anyone

I have the unlimited plan with Qlink. Or had because now after not have any data service for a week. When I called today. The automated service is saying I only have 5gb of data. When I've always had unlimited data. And they are saying there's nothing they can do to fix my not working data issue

3 hour 45 min waiting for a person to answer the phone this stinks I talked with someone 4 days ago they told me it would come on soon but no go now they don't even bother to answer the phone???? Maybe there ha e service problems as well ???? but seriously they are a affiliate of Tmobile so if u switch providers make sure there not affiliated with Tmobile because u will still most likely have no data

Same since the 15th. I do feel better seeing this. Sadly I called four different times two people said unlimited plan and it was do to the weather then last two reps said I have unlimited but used all up at my data @ 8gbs Good God why can't they tell the truth. Glad to know that I am not the only one experiencing this outage. Haven't been able to use any apps or even the internet its really upsetting. when I called q link they did not do anything to help either said that they couldn't help. I tried 3 different phones and all of them doing the same thing. I ordered a new sim to see if that may help but not really holding my breath here.

Qlink is not working in NW Florida...

Qlink data is Not Working at all in NW florida.
I reset everything, including the phone.
Still no internet data even though it shows 5 bars.
Im so close to a cell tower it could hit me if it fell over.
Its been doing this since Monday the 15th of January and Qlink has made no announcement as to having any problems. I contacted Qlink and got nowhere with customer service even after giving them all my credentials, sim, and IME numbers. I guess my only option is to find another carrier.

I have been without internet since Jan 15. We are currently stuck in house because of icy road conditions. I needed to pay bills online but because of this horrible company I couldn’t. I’ve been calling the helpline for days. Today I spent 2 hours on the phone and still no answer

Data went out at approx. 5:15PM EST on Monday in West Virginia. Its now Thursday and still nothing. No ETA, no info, just nothing. CS suggested the same old "restart your phone, toggle airplane mode, etc". Or, "you've exceeded your data limit", "make sure your service is active". Three days of no work or school. Absolute joke of a company. Will be switching back to Straight Talk, they suck but they're so much better. Hope they get raided again by the FBI.

The last representative literally told me that the truth was, They don’t even know what’s going on!! He said the company told them to deflect complaints by telling us our data was overused, that we had to reverify proof of eligibility, etc… he admitted there’s a Qlink outage & they have no idea what’s going on!! Cb, solar flares have nothing to do with the temperature lmao. Solar flares knock out satellite's that orbit the earth. I believe this is what's happening because everyone is getting different answers and they're telling people that their data is out when it's not they're just lying to us because they don't want to cause a widespread panic.

All T Mobile's fault?

It could be a hoax, some guy sitting in a room writing all these reports knowing there are people like me who will sit in the cold with the engine running outside Dunkin mooching their wifi, but based on my searches it looks like TMobile customers are having the same problems we are. Qlink uses TMobile's network. It has been cold and very windy this week. Maybe a tower or ten got damaged. Maybe some of us still have phone and SMS because they are higher priority than data. I'm just guessing.

Apn problem

Setting up a new apn after resetting the network I noticed that when I try to choose qlink access point name it will not allow you. It continues to revert back to t mobile us LTE. When I turn on my separate wifi it allows you to choose qlink APN so this is deliberate. I suggest switching to another carrier. I'm going to Boost.

Calling support is useless. Ungodly hold times because of everyone experiencing the same issues. Waiting for a callback states up to 48 hours. Chatting with support on Facebook provides no new info. They just state that data is sometimes slowed due to high usage. Problem is this isn't slowed data rates. This is no data at all. The support person in Facebook would not even address that they are experiencing some sort of issue. Just kept saying that it's because my high data usage is the reason. My data usage hasn't changed and I've never had this issue before.
