Alexa tells me the weather, the news, tunes into any radio station I ask for, responds to volume control, sets timers and alarms, wakes me up every morning, tells me things I need to know, makes me laugh ... she's great, a really helpful robot to have in the house, and her illuminated clock is just what I wanted!

Amazon Alexa wasn't responding now I get a red light

Alexa device wasn't responding to my commands so I switched her off and on again, now I'm getting a red light and she's saying "sorry I'm having trouble understanding right now" usually this is a WiFi issue but my WiFi is perfect, can't find any information anywhere and Amazon Alexa no longer update their social media platforms so I can't ask what's going on.

Terribly unreliable. More of a gateway for A! to constantly barrage your home with unsolicited ads and unwanted detritus than doing anything useful, following routines, running apps, viewing security cams, etc.

All Alexa voice is out, New York

I have 3 Alexa devices and all 3 light up and then go out quickly and the iPhone app does the same. I am able to still turn things on or off in the app using the touchscreen so it seems only voice assistant is down.

Echo show came on when I asked it to play music, it did but would not respond to STOP!

Amazon Echo is down

Alexa devices (3 total) in our home are not responding to any voice command from this morning. Restarting didn't resolve the problem, restating my router also didn't help. While I can see them connected to internet (like my orders are getting displayed on echo show), the blue light immediately goes off after any command. From DMV area.
