Cannot make a claim for a last minute flight to Nashville yesterday, resulting in £2,100K accommodation costs lost. Trying to make a claim but the website is appalling, yet being told by BA call centre to claim online. Uterrly appalling airline.

Terrible service

I have been unable to make a payment toward my holiday with B A online. I tried phoning B A this evening and a young man who I could hardly understand said he would put me through to customer services to make my payment. After waiting to be put through to customer services for several minutes he came back on the like and in a garbled voice said he was putting me through. I asked if BA could contact me but he ignored this request totally, instead putting me on hold again for customer services listeng to what sounded like an old 70's recorning of Spanish music. What is going on and why can I not make a payment towards my holiday?

BA cancelled my LHR/JHB leg of my trip to DUR. The new flight lands after the JHB/DUR leg has taken off !! I cannot get through to anyone to correct this and the BA website is constantly offline. On phoning the number given 0344 493 0787, the message is "If your flight is outside of 8 weeks, please call again later." Well, my flights are not outside of 8 weeks so why cut me off ?? I am now considering cancelling and rebooking through a more reliable airline, Emirates. Will cost a bit more but at least I will know where I am. Fed Up !!
