Virtual Chat Agent can't see you are already signed in, refuses to connect to agent

Chat agent keeps requesting that I sign in to connect me with support, but I am signed in, I even signed out and signed back in. I need customer support. It's been going like this for an hour now. The sign in link button they send in chat reboots the chat losing all prior conversation, and doesn't send the sign in link, which isn't needed anyway, because I am already signed in.

App won't open

My app won't open. I keep getting the error message "Too many requests. Provisioned request has been exeeded". I have tried updating the app and then uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing works. I have to check into a hotel today, but I can't see my reservation because I can't open the app.

I can't log in. I've tried multiple times and the system just won't let me even though I made reservations a couple of days ago. I guess I'll call the hotel directly and make sure everything is ok. Or maybe cancel and then rebook through someone else. This is so frustrating.

Clearly I'm not the only one who's struggling with the hotels.com site. Did they try to make things better? Trying to fix something that wasn't broken? I've used it many times, but it seems absolutely worthless now. I wish I knew what happened.

The chat agent was incredibly rude, basically blaming me for the issues I'm having not being able to see my reservation. He told me I should be ablet to fix it and that he's offering me solutions, which he was NOT. This is horrible customer service.

This is horrible, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having issues. I can't log in and never received a confirmation for a booking I made a couple of days ago. I tried the online chat and was just told it's an issue with my email not receiving the code. I was told to enter or change my password, but I'm not even given those options. I was told usually the customer resolves the issue with the automated system. What automated system? And it's it your damn job to help me? I'm done.

SORT THE AUTHENTIFICATION PROCESS OUT

Used to be able to pay with no issues and verifies that I'm a human with those images. Now cant do sweet FA... Contacted the bank plenty of funds, tried to book over the phone still can't do it ... Webchat is useless when trying to tell them that its a website issue.

Used to be great - now is absolutely hopeless. App only lets you complete bookings and then fails to store them, fails to log your rewards. Customer service is worse than useless.

One Key switch deleted my account

Can no longer sign in to my account. Sends me code then asks me to reset password then tells me there is a problem on there end and to try again later. Has been saying this for 2 days now, same thing on app. Customer service tells me to just keep trying and provides 0 help. Extremely frustrating!!! The best part is that my previously booked upcoming travel that has been paid in full is no longer able to be found.

Can't sign into my own account all of a sudden and customer service says they can't do anything...

Can't log in all of a sudden, and the customer rep keeps telling me there's nothing they can do!! Outrageous. I was checking my reservations, and all of a sudden got signed out, and now can't log back in, no matter what I do -- they keep sending a code to my email, and each time I enter it I'm back to the same sign-in page. I tried different Chrome and Firefox and it's the same problem

Haven't been able to sign in ever since their screwed up upgrade. When I try to sign in, I get a message that there is a problem on their end. Works fine on the computer but not on the app. Why don't they fix the problem on their damn end?

The site cannot book any hotel or property no matter what you do. The only thing I can do is call the Helpline and tell the staff to help book the property manually from there. And it seems that the booking does not appear in "My Trips" so I had to print the itinerary.
