It is absolutely the worst and most infuriating business website I have ever used. After every selection the site freezes for 30 to 45 seconds. And many times when you click on an item you are taken to a different item. I do a lot of online shopping and after having so many problems for such a long period of time with this site, I will never shop JC Penney online again.

071322 Since early this morning the JCP website stopped working. The website will open but it will not allow me to login to my account, search for items, or open a coupon to the scan screen. Also, the coupon does not show an expiration date and the "details" portion of the coupon will not open. I assume the JCP's website has been hacked. I will not use my JCP MasterCard again until the issue has been resolved.

For no reason at all, I’m not being allowed access to your website!!! An error message pops up saying “Access Denied - You don’t have permission to access "http://www.jcpenney.com/?" on this server. Reference #18.b6973017.1656067007.eeba0.” I had to place my order over the phone with one of your representatives. It was lucky that I had managed to get items into my cart before being denied access. I’m STILL denied - even if I try on a completely unrelated computer at work. I tried calling your customer service on 6/10/22 but I was told nobody was available to help me and someone would get back to me, but that never happened. (Then I called to place the order before the sale ended…). I’m still waiting for the issue to be resolved. It’s very frustrating that I can’t even get into your website to look at anything! This is ONLY happening with your website.

I haven't been able to get on for 4 days now. I contacted them several times and told them, it hasn't been resolved. I have already done everything recommended and used all of the links above, I still have the same issue. I contacted their customer service department and they tried from their system and she couldn't get into the website. My internet provider said that it's an issue on Penney's site because they have had complaints from their own users because they can't open the site. They can only make notes that it's not accessible.
