Work around for Android

Update! Clearing Android app data (several times on two phones) has not worked but uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed it! I have live data from our 2022 e-tron 55 now. Don't need to use my husband's iPhone anymore.

New Q4 - not connecting

I've had my brand new Q4 for a week now. I registered myself as the key user last Saturday (4/2/23) The connectivity icon changed from LTE to 3g and it hasn't worked since. My dealer has de-registered and re-registered the car. We've rebooted (LOL) everything but the car still won't connect to anything. Android auto works but the Audi app just keeps coming up with a connection (to the car) error.

Last month a 5 day outage on the app seeing the car (Q4) at all and now it can see it (because it lets me turn the air con off and on!) but no battery info available. That’s the critical part for me. It’s laughable!! So frustrating- wish I had never bought it. No help from Audi digital just the normal set of reload app, reset MMI etc but it’s not those it’s a problem there end. Why don’t they just say that?!

14th Nov - 1.40pm GMT: (UK Based) Just spoken to the Audi Digital Team - They say they are currently going through ongoing maintenance works to upgrade the Audi website and App, and that these are both affected. They have no timeline currently, but expect it to be resolved "in a day or two". Only advice given by them is to check back "in a few days". Fun times!

Same. How long do we have to wait for the fix? I was magically kicked out of my car as the user and can't get back in. Very frustrating. Especially for what we pay to drive these cars.

11/04/22 USA, GA. Can log into the app, but will not communicate with vehicle. Love the car, but hate the app. Seems to not work more than it works. they need a disclaimer at the time of purchase.

Same with me Can log into the app, but get iphone error "Vehicle status could not be retrieved". Can log into web page on Windows just fine. I use the app to double check car is locked and windows closed. Frustrating when not dependable.

Have been on hold for over an hour to figure out why AudiConnect is a steaming pile of shit service. Works one day then doesn't the next. And no one ever answers the phone and are closed on weekends when people actually have the time to deal with this. Unbelievably bad service.
