Error 429

Something not right with this site. I keep getting error 429 (rate limit) errors whenever searching for properties. I only use the site sporadically though so I shouldn't be getting limited.

Someone needs to check some code somewhere I suspect.

Property amendments does not adjust from original price estimate

You update your home as an owner and yet the pricing still defaults to original price estimates ie we updated our home to 5 bed from 3, 1 bathroom to 3 and price estimate still remains at original 3 bed, 1 bath. Seems you have a problem with updating the estimates. Currently we show less that median price for area.

Maps Have Failed

Map function on realestate.com.au has failed for the last 3 days +, will not load any maps, and if you alter any search filters the screen goes blank, you can reload the page to fix this but the maps are still cactus, am using latest version of firefox, however domain.com.au is working fine.

we have 2 computers side by side on same desk, using same modem.
One loads correctly with realestate.com, the other loads home page then opens to a blank screen.
The one that opens you can search til your hearts content.
Have cleared cache and restarted the other, but no difference.

Rubbish site changes

Home page fine and scrolling- enter a suburb and it say no internet gives me a map of Australia- it's crap, been like this for 2 weeks- Also the changes they have made to saved properties is CRAP! I emailed them to tell them it has made it really cumbersome, cants see all the properties I've saved to track sales have to folder them, no bbish site browsing and saving experienceway- will have to rely on domain as Realestate.com don't seem to know what their clients need or want much less care

The new "saved properties" layout is awkward and cumbersome with the map taking up way too much space. I can only see one property at a time on the left, with the map taking up most of the page. I already know where the properties are - the map is useless. I have started using Domain. I still use Realestate.com.au for searching, but I now transfer over to Domain for saving properties to peruse later.

Is the realestate.com.au site working? For the last 10 days I have not been getting any alert notices. Normally, I get them just after 5.00pm but recently, I have not been getting any alerts at all. I've tried to contact them, but there is no contact information.

John here i reported lots of issues I'd had with www.realestate.com.au on 2nd February 2023. Well for 4 & a half weeks now haven't been able to look houses up in any suburbs when i try to it just says Oh no somethings not quite right we are working on it something like that & says to click to go to main site so do it & is up for about 1 second then back to Oh no somethings not quite right. It really is pathetic like supposedly www.realestate.com.au is supposed to be the premier site for realestate but always have so many issues with it. Sites like domain, allhomes, homely etc never really have any problems with them but www.realestate.com.au is it would seem having regular problems. The issues need to be fixed & www.realestate.com.au need to make it so that there never is any problems or if there is then very rarely.

Today February 2nd 2023 is the fourth day in a row that www.realestate.com.au isn't allowing me to look any listing's up. The main sites comes up but then can't type any suburbs in to look up. Also for weeks now I'd look suburbs up & it would freeze or I'd click on the next page of listing's & would bring up the listing a listing hadn't clicked on. Many bugs & issues with www.realestate.com.au & they need to get it fixed.

I’ve been using realestate.com.au for weeks no problem and now the last few days it just refuses to load. The correct screen flashes for a second and then reverts to message “Oh no! Open site enter search and it just hangs with a blank page. Does this all the time. Wont work on my home laptop or my daughter's lap top and half the time it does not work on my employer system. This has been going on for months. Cant understand why they do not fix their issue.

We can open the Realestate website, however won't let us search on our computer.
We can though however both open the site and do searches on our laptop.

Does anyone know why this could happen? It does not seem to therefore be an issue with the site, maybe just our computer.
We can access Domain, and plenty of other sites.... just not search on Realestate.com.au

"Rate Exceeded" error. Come on RE.com.au, sort yourselves out. There isn't even a notice on the website to tell people that you're attempting to fix - assuming you're even aware of the issue.

The website opens on laptop with saved search on home page but then nothing but a blank page when you click search. It has been happening a lot and becoming more unreliable daily. Its disappointing and irritating.
..... and what about the poor homeowners who have paid to have their homes listed on this buggy site? Can't sell it if no one can see it !!!!

Seems that browser design rules have changed. For some reason, realestate.com.au has not changed to match. Errors are:

Found this to be an issue with Chrome data on the profile.

Resolved by deleting the User Data folder located at:
C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data
This directory will be rebuilt automatically when opening Chrome.

Note:
** This will clear all user data including extensions, passwords etc.
** AppData is a hidden folder so make sure Hidden items are checked in the View tab of file explorer.

Hi I have been not able to open any page on realestate.com.au for 2 weeks except the home page and saved property page. I tried latest version Chrome, latest firefox, and IE also Edge. I tried my home network(operated by telstra) and also phone networks(operated by telstra and optus), all not working. But the app works fine regardless which network.
