Scribed login through incognito window

I have had a paid subscription for years, and this is happening with me too, not being able to log in. I tried to log in a week back and found that I couldnt. My payment was taken from my credit card on the 15th Feb, and still no change in the login status. I submitted a ticket and am waiting for someone to issue a refund. I accessed the website through an incognito window, was able to create a new account, uploaded 5 documents as asked to download some documents. So its not a technical issue, looks like they are stealing paid subscribers money!!!

Everand, Scribd don’t work since yesterday evening

Since yesterday I suddenly cannot read or listen to books anymore on Everand. The app tells me that there is a problem with my connection, I should check it and try again.
All my other apps, however work, as does the internet connection. My credit card hasn’t expired since June, so I must have entered the information of my new credit card then, don’t you think?
The app works neither on my iPhone (with iOS 17.11.), nor on this iPad (iOS 16.6.1).
I cannot use my Scribd app either.
”Home” doesn’t work, nor do ”Top charts”, ”Search” or ”Account”. For some reason I can access my ”Saved” lists, but I cannot open any of the books on them.

Something went wrong


After free trial the monthly fee has been charged. Next day after the payment I could not reach my saved content and I cannot download anything.
The website is extremely slow, I always get message "Something went wrong"
Dont pay for their service, not worth.
Customer service is unprofessional. Everybody needs to report it to banks As its fraud amd scam.

Managed to sign in (ITALY)

From Italy, I also could not log (note: I wanted to cancel subscription!).
Seeing this thread, I realized it could be a geographical (DNS) issue... so I tried with TOR browser and this way I could access the website and manage my account.

I have written many times here, to support@scribd.com, even on play store app, but after 15 days scribd didn't solve the problem yet, they ask me more details end sent me link to reach their website, but all is really useless. How much time does it take to find the problem? it seems, they told, a problem only in Italy? Why? are they broken any legal rules in Italy? and how to do to have back money ?
