Thank you. And I mean I'm false advertising in the sense that I'm kinda one thing wrapped in another. Like, if I advertise as who I am physically then it's not accurate to who I am inside. And if I do the opposite, then I'm not physically what I'm advertising. But yeah, you get me lol. I've actually browsed reddit here and there. But I mostly just comment to make people laugh on some of the subs I browse or to help people out who post on things like r/mentalhealth. I had posted myself once or twice in the past looking for help (a lot of stuff was weighing on me) but I never really got any responses and honestly I haven't been brave enough to post anything like that since. But you're right, there are for sure people out there in similar situations. And, not that I'd want anyone to feel miserable, but it is nice to know that others are going through this too. I just happen to be alone because I'm physically alone. Like, everybody who goes through this kinda is. Because at some point or another we're stuck with ourselves. Whether it's lying awake at night trying not to think about our own existence, catching glimpses of things we know we can't experience ourselves and feeling excluded because of biology, or having to see ourselves in the mirror and wanting nothing more than to look away... but I may checkout r/trans some more. Thank you so much for the kind words. Life has been very rough, especially as of late, so it's nice to hear somebody say something to be kind and sincere. Unfortunately, I don't forsee much in terms of good fortune for me on the horizon as homelessness tends to last quite a while, my health condition is a permanent disability, and my dysphoria is caused by a body I cannot change... but I will say I've been trying to make the best of it at least. I do really appreciate how you said I don't need to make myself more palatable for others. I for sure have a tendency of doing that for just about everything in life. I'm a bit of a try hard. But, at least for my own sake, I still do wish I knew how to label myself. Because I honestly do feel like one way or the other I'm giving a false impression of who I am. And I wanna feel okay with myself. And right now, I just feel like my body is sort of false advertising for my soul. Again, I'm probably not doing a great job at explaining myself... but either way, thank you for the chat. Everyone seems to be saying that soundgasm is back online. But to be honest, I'm gonna miss coming to this little corner of the internet and meeting people lol probably keep coming back out of habit for the next few days xD

fair, but friend, you have your whole life to discover who you are, let things come at a natural pace. gravitate towards the things that make you comfy. but honestly, dont try to find a label to appease folks who dont understand you. you do not have to have everything all figured out and explained and labeled in order for your feelings to be valid. if just saying "hey im still figuring things out, i feel uncomfy with this but im comfy with this" loses folks, then thats on them not you. you dont have to make your experience palatable for folks unlike you. you dont have to spoonfeed them information on what it means to be you and make them understand just because they personally havent dealt with that and dont understand. the idea that folks need to have everything figured out and labeled in order to be accepted and validated is very dumb. i promise you friend, you have your ENTIRE life to figure these things out! i hope things get better for you tho and you get a home and become fiancially stable in the future, hopefully soon.

Social transitioning isn't really on the table for me either I'm afraid :s not that I know if it'd help much or not since most of my dysphoria comes directly or indirectly from my body itself. But if soundgasm ever comes back, at least I'll get some nice pronoun use. I like it because I can just find audios where pronoun use isn't highly stressed so it feels less like something being said for my benefit and just more casual. If that makes sense. Like less attention drawn to the pronoun use itself like it's not a huge deal maybe? Idk. I think about this kind of stuff a lot honestly. But so far as names go, I guess I've never really been one to worry about a new name. Maybe it's cause mine is a unis** name. I'm not really sure... But despite not really caring for my name, it has never really brought me any real misery. And you're definitely right about that. It is all an experience. Though, for simplicity sake, sometimes I do wish I had a label. Between who I am, what I am, what I'm like, and what I like, along side my s**uality and s**ual preferences, I tend to lose or confuse people a fair bit :s For a simple example. Take masochism. I myself am not a masochist. But for those who are, the moment they say they are to a partner, that partner is already getting an image of what they're into. And odds are they're wrong because a masochist can be into things like verbal degradation without being into pain or vice-versa. Or even a whole range of things really. That said, a masochist still has a label which gives a bit of a jumping off point in terms of explaining things at least. But I'm a bit more complicated... and since I have no labels to speak of, I lack any real starting point when it comes to explaining myself :s
Exactly! s**uality can be very fluid! In fact I regularly learn new things about my own all the time. Tbh before trying audiogasm I didn't know I was into praise. But then I heard some. And I just melted. Like, I've never really experienced that in real life before. But thinking on s**uality, that's another big spot where a label could help. I've only ever been interested in girls. That's right, I'm a woman liker *record scratch*. But because of my body not matching up with who I am, I don't know if that qualifies me as gay or straight... which in turn makes dating hard to even think about. Not just for my own issues. But because I have the dilemma of feeling like regardless of what I market myself as, I'm setting up any potential partner to think I'm something that I might not be. And it's not even as simple as telling them I'm male or female based on who I am inside or outside, because I still have interests based on how I've lived my life, inexperience toward things I'm not familiar with, and a mind/body controlled by hormones that dictate a bit of what I'm like :s

i wish you luck of the journey of finding yourself and even if youre unable to transition medically because of medical issues or money youre at least able to socially transition like dressing how u feel comfy and people using a name and pronouns that make u feel like you. if you want you could give me a name and your pronouns and id be down to try them on you and see how u feel. but dont feel pressured to label yourself friend, not only do you have all the time in the world to figure things out, but labels are arbituary! gender and s**uality are whole ass experiences, and its impossible to properly articulate that kind of experience with words. some folks find comfort with labels, and some dont, and those folks shouldnt be forced to explain themselves or match themselves up to a box when one that can most accurately describe them might not even exist yet. thats dumb! just exist, be a whole ass person, do all the things that make you happy!

I mean... yes and no... I honestly don't know exactly how to label myself, being conditioned one way and feeling another... And what's more is that transitioning isn't really an option for me... so I'm kinda stuck... but yeah, its actually a little reaffirming to hear the right things from a sincere sounding voice. Wow I'm actually shocked that I didn't know that. I used to watch stand-up comedy all the time. Though it has been quite a while since I watched any of John Mullaney's routines. Last comedians I've seen were some smaller time ones at the local comedy club around here a few years back.

It has been about seven days since the Famine began, I fear that people are beginning to lose hope. Many folks are wondering when the site will be up and running again, many have started to believe it'll never go back to the way it was...Some of us have been looking for ways around the rough loading times and the buffering, not all have been successful.
With the site not running at full capacity, many are finding it difficult to live without their submissive men audios; I myself am struggling to get by without my sweet dominant monster audios...the only thing keeping us all going is the hope that someday soon we can get them back and listen to our heart's content. I cannot say that sleep has gotten any easier for anybody either...but maybe with this famine we can learn how to live without the lulling sounds of a woman showing interest in us. I highly doubt this will happen, but anything's possible in these trying times.
I suppose "trying times" is the best way to describe this past week without our lovely soundgasm. Everyone is trying for something, whether that be trying to listen to submissive men audios, trying to wait for the site to be fixed, trying to find ways around the problem; we're all trying these days...But I think we can all agree that the site complications are certainly trying our patience.
