VEC self-service unemployment certification page is down as of 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 17th, 202

I brought up the URL for automated / online Virginia Unemployment claims. I entered my username, and my password. As usual, the website generated an authentication code and sent it to my cellular phone. Using the authentication code, I entered the information into the website autheticator.

Upon authenticating, the website instantly brought up a page which indicated an error and provided several suggestions for ways to fix the error, assuming that the error was caused by my equipment and Internet access apparatus.

I then attempted the same process with no joy - I got the same error message. Eventually, after trying a few more times, I used a different browser - with the same results. Then, I used a different computer, which has a different I.P. address, and utilizes a different Internet vehicle. I got the same results - an error page.

Next, I tried yet another browser - and got an error message as soon as I accessed the self-service portal, before reaching the login page.

I emailed the webmaster, and I filled out a problem form on the webmaster's portal. There is clearly an error or outage with VEC.

Website down

Would not allow to log in ask me to change my password and to call customer service center. This has happened before and was working later in the day. This has been happening all day am I am supposed to file my claim today. It took my information one time gave me a code and took me back to main screen with dame message.

was asked to reset password answered security ? received message We are not able to authenticate your digital identity based on the information you provided or the device you are using. As a result, please call the Customer Contact Center at 1-866-832-2363 for further assistance. called and auto resp will receive call back! VEC not well staffed Bad Site
