Missing Lolicit and writing

As much as I miss writing and seeing the great artwork, I’m watching movies I missed watching while writing while “watching” them. I do hope another site rises, but with what’s happening theses days, I have my doubts.

I am increasingly saddened by how many good friends I have lost to the fall of Lolicit.And the worst thing is that it happened to me for the second time.It's a big shame!

Well, I’m guessing what with AI and the laws changing, I’m thinking it’s doubtful we’ll see Lolicit or a similar site up ever again. Especially AI, there’s been a LOT of talking about AI and what is being done and can be done with it. Y’all take care out there.

The worst part is that when there is an outage anywhere, people realize what a loss it is for them.Did anyone else take the job and look for an alternative position, which, however, is not one of those that are paid?

I thought it was my fault, but as I can see the inability to connect has been going on for more than a week.
As recently as ten days ago, there was a debate in the local chat about a possible outage.
I stated that I already know what it's like when a board dies for some reason, perhaps because the founder has no money, which happened years ago at Real Eden Place.
But here, a large number of members and a rented server with poor protection against attack from the outside play a role.

Yeah, I think so too. Sure am going to miss writing stories etc. I’m kind of thinking something happened there like at Lolicon’s years ago. Someone got PO’d about an alleged disrespect or whatever and decided to crash the site. I remember there was something about someone scraping up system information a few weeks ago. Then there’s whomever was “accidentally” made a Mod, they might have decided to do something.

Then there also might be certain laws catching up? Especially with all of the AI concerns that are happening. There’s even an actual worry of human extinction if AI is allowed to progress, especially among those who don’t concern themselves with rules/regulations.

I think its done

I am guessing they had catastrophic hardware failure Or were more likely shut down. They have been offline for over a week now, I don't think they are coming back

Seems like Lolicit.org might have run into a hassle(s) about what can be depicted in what manner anymore. What with 3D, AI and DeepFake all under scrutiny, it might be all we can do or get are stories. And even then in certain areas that might not be possible.
