My Norton told me that "This program has reached its end of life and may pose additional risks. You may want to uninstall the program or remove it from future scans" regarding my Brave Browser, when I clicked on its status ("State), which says "! Up to date EOL"

Seems to have a central point of failure (brave servers). Why do i need a brave server to be up if i want to surf. Some script kitty uploads an untested patch and everyone in the world can't surf with brave??? They never admit down times either.

Brave does not load web sites properly on PC when the brave shield is enabled

Brave does not load web sites properly at all on PC when the Brave shield is up (it seems the styling of the pages gets removed the console gets filled with net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT ).

It loads the pages correctly if the shields are disabled but that defeats the whole purpose of using Brave :( ....

Videos and touchscreen don't work

My Chromebook has been great with Brave until now. This week, any video is useless due to flickering which then locks up the page. Now today, I was scrolling through bookmarks. Suddenly my touchscreen stopped working. Keyboard is fine, and other browsers are as well. It is specific only to Brave. It is now to the point is unuseable.

Brave Not Running Today 14Oct2023 after WIN-10 Update

I restarted my PC to update Windows 10 Home today. Successful. When I tried to run Brave later, it refused. White screen for a couple seconds, then off. I cannot open the browser even after uninstalling & re-installing.

Brave Entry Point Not Found

Since 14thSep23 Brave has stopped working on windows 10. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Brave a number of times but continue getting a message when requested to make changes to this PC on the hard drive when installing the search engine. Clicking 'yes'
The following popup states:

'Brave exe-Entry Point Not Found.'
'The procedure entry point lsEnclaveTypeSupported could not be located in the dynamic link library C:/Program Files/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Application/117.1.58.124/chrome.dll ''
I am stumped how to fix the issue at hand and am having withdrawal symptoms from an inoperative Brave.com. Someone out there. Pls advise

Stunning&Brave

All my setting have changed by themselves and BRAVE is not Allowing me to change any of there Privacy settings. When I Click them they Automatically Return to the wrong position that they have been switched to. I am the only user of my PC and it was not like this 12 hours ago. Not to mention I hate the new A.I, which by itself has me considering other options.

Brave would immediately be jammed up with the rotating beachball of death. Deleted the app, downloaded it again, and upon opening it all bookmarks were there automatically not to mention the tabs that had been there when the app started to crash.

Suddenly started experiencing issues with Brave browser. When trying to open a new tab, it won't load. Even going to random websites doesn't work. It sits there loading forever and keeps saying "page unresponsive." If I try to reload the tab, it says my connection to the page is insecure, or something to that effect. When I started using Brave for the first time, I thought it was a really good Chromium-based web browser, that does everything Chrome can do, but without all that Google spyware, plus ad blocking built in. However, unfortunately, I have to retract that opinion.

Occasionally, for some reason or another, the browser causes memory leaks and eats up a ton of CPU, for no reason. I've had to use the "taskkill /f /im brave.exe" DOS command (in a .bat file) numerous times before, just to properly kill the process. Pairing it with CCleaner also helped, which I also recommend you use.

Also their recent update (March 1 or 2, 2021) has completely caused the browser to stop working entirely. RAM spikes, frozen Explorer, etc. This thing, thanks to the new update, is an absolute memory hog.

A couple years ago, I would've recommended the Brave browser to anyone; however, it doesn't look like I can say that any longer... shame. There just seem to be too many problems with it now...
