After lots of searching I found the solution I was looking for, this is for a 16 GB Nexus 4 and follows steps 2-10 to install a custom recovery for a 16 GB Nexus 4. Without the recovery, and under advanced TWRP you have to root it and use a custom recovery as explained in this forum post , which is what I have used to make this ROM. So, why should you do this? Well, if you want to manually flash an OTAs, recovery, kernel, etc... this will allow you to do it without the need for some clunky command line tools.

Discordapp.com not working for me. Not sure if it's my setup or what. I think I changed to Discord out of convenience, but I am really not sure. If anyone knows what's going on, please get in touch with me asap and I will try to resolve the issue.
