I had to explain where my funds came from because they said I was to young to be retired ..... treated me like a criminal just because I was able to retire in my fifties! Plus they take almost 10 days to settle up at the end of the month with their fully paid lending program ... 10 days to give me my money is ridiculous.

Applied for savings accounts twice including 4+ hours on the phone over 2 days with them. Still no account. Now, I cant login. Had an account for nearly 15 years now this within the past year.

From iphone app: "expected data missing", from Firefox on Windows 10: redirects to page not found. I tried changing the xxx.etrade.com/yyy in the URL to just etrade.com/yyy but that had no effect.

Restricted my account for "unusual activity" after I tried to wire some money out. I tried to work with them, but gave up after feeling like I was being stroked and on 6/3 submitted what I was told I would need to submit to close my accounts and transfer my portfolio out. I called on the 4th and was told that the quality was not good enough. I resubmitted the required items that day. During the next week, I was told that the letter did not contain data points necessary to complete the process. I submitted the new letter. On 6/10 I called and was told that there was nothing further needed and the file was being processed. On Monday, 6/13, after a 2hour 1min 31sec hold and getting put with someone else, Johnny in Account Activation told me that he would be transferring me to someone who could help me and I ended up with the feedback service which happens after the company hangs up on me. I am pretty sure that the reason I decided to get away from E*Trade because I felt like I was being stroked while I had my portfolio held hostage was an understatement. What I have experienced without any explanation of why my normal "unusual" activity would justify this customer abuse gives me reason to fear that there is more than meets the eye and I need to get out as quickly as I can before things go worse.

Etrade keeps saying "invalide password" when logging in. Password reset functionality does not work. I have tried multiple times which included screenshotting my new password (and existing User ID) and still told each time the new password is invalid. Have tried closing browser and multiple different devices.

Anyone else having problems logging in? I am literally entering the code from the app and it's telling me the code doesn't work; customer service is a joke. The bot literally just sends you for a loop when you ask for a specific login issue. If this wasn't through my company there is no way I would ever use it; the login/2factor process is horrible and they have a joke of customer service.

Initially the customer service was excellent. I could call and talk with someone within a few minutes any time of day or night. For the last 12 days I have not been able to get in touch with anyone. The expected wait time has been more than two hours?????? Today it said 90 minutes.; This is totally unacceptable. I have been waiting that whole time for them to connect one of my checking accts with nothing happening. I also wanted to set up my account for options and have questions but nobodya available to answer them. What is going on with Etrade????? I am able to sign on to my acct but that is about it.

I’ve had Etrade pro for a good while… today it just decided it’s not letting me log in. Cleaned up my startup, tried other WiFi networks, downloaded the newer version of etrade (2.0.1) off their website, restarted my computer and NOTHING! I still keep getting an error -please check network connections. Every other app and website works but yours E*TRADE. I’ve been trouble shooting this all morning and it’s already lunch time. So much for taking the day off to trade. Seems like we’re the ones being bE-TRADEd. Can’t wait to close all my positions and find a better trading platform.

E-Trade is not accepting my User ID and password, that I very, VERY purposefully took exact letter for letter, number for number copy of. I've used these to log on before. Why is it suddenly not working? I was trying to log on to put in my new phone number but because I can't get a text to my phone now (since you have my old phone number) I can't even reset my password and User ID. This is a real problem.
