Can't register card

Still can't get their website to work after 3 days of trying. Either comes up blank or blocks me when I try to do anything. Can't get the card registered to use online. Called the toll free # and no way to get to a live person to help. I used one of these cards last year and it worked fine. NOT NOW !

I have a few gift card mall visas and Mastercard's to register but online is not working (will not take email information) and there does not seem to be anyone at all to get a hold of at 800 number (customer service is not there). Very frustrating! I bought these through Amazon. I am angry that Amazon can sell these with a straight face! I am angry there is no customer service to get help registering my cards. If I had to rate this company I would give it a big fat 0 !

Save Your Money, Do Not Buy These Cards

Was able to successfully register & use numerous Visa gift cards at various times since last year with no issues - until a week ago. Bought a $50 card from my local store. Had to wait 24 hrs for activation. 1st attempt to access site the page was blank. 2nd attempt it came up. Entered card info to register like I normally would & I get the message, "please enter a valid email address." This is the same email addy I've been using on that site for every other Visa gift card I had & there was never any issues with it before. Entered a different email & same error message. Waited 48 hours to try registering again from a different computer using a different browser & same issue. Tried today & still cannot register this card. Did a search to see if there was a workaround & was led to this site. Beyond disconcerting to see there's so many others who are also dealing with this crap & worse with these cards...but also that no one seems to be able to help us/cares to. Thoroughly disgusted & appalled with giftcardmall.com. Will never do business with them again & will advise everyone I know to steer clear of them!

Cards are junk

These Visa and Mastercard Gift Cards are junk. Half the places won't accept them. They're a pain with these issues they're having. I keep telling Mom "stop with those gift cards! Either give me cash or nothing."

Intentional run around by Visa/Mastercard

These cards have been getting worse. Try calling the number (if you can read the invisible writing sheesh) on back of card. The run around is intentional. I think I'll contact a gov rep to get this dealt with. There should be a class action lawsuit!! Any lawyers out there?

I have tried to register my card for 2 days. Says can't reach site. I tried to use a different card yesterday on the internet and couldn't even though the card had been previously registered. I haven't been able to reach their site for 2 days. Does anyone know what is going on?

Try the card

Don't be afraid to try your card anywhere including the Internet without registering - even if you enter your name and ZIP code on sites that usually require the cards to be registered, they are still working. I used my Visa gc online twice today at a major restaurant's website and a big retailer and both transactions went through even though I never registered the card.

The website is down. The phone number has a recording that sounds like vishing and no way to reach a live person. We'll be hearing about how they were hacked or how they went bankrupt but kept selling gift cards in a few months.

Site hacked

If I had to guess this this site/company has been hacked and now being hit by a Ddos attack while everybody card balance is being emptied. Do not enter your card number on the phone, that is clearly hacked also. Sucks. They know whats happening, but they won't disclose it and won't pay to shut it down. They are loosing your money because they don't want to admit publicly that that there network was compromised.

Possible outage? How about definite outage. As in outage of service, transparency and any meaningful or honest communication from them. Giftcardmail has been refusing to load for at least a week now and all you get is BS from them on the phone. IF they are planning on switching to a new site, WHY can't they TELL you that? I don't want do business with any group that leaves its customers stranded and uninformed-what a rip off.

Switching new to site for registering

Looks like there switching over to a new site to use with there gift cards. Which is giftcardkey.com if you go on there main website giftcardmall.com click the link on acitvate. Wait a min loads slow it pops up the gift card registering but it still not operational as still working on it. Know it sucks that is down and frustrating a heads up would be nice but look like it will be back up by end of week.

Problem NOT Resolved

I contacted a live person by phone (you have to press Lost Card and wait for a live Rep to come on) and he admitted they were having "Technical issues" but that the site should be up in the next 2 days - that was yesterday and site is still down and I'll be very surprised if it's up tomorrow . I'll never buy another card from these people again. The least they could do is tell you the site is temporarily down but they won't even do that-so what am I supposed to think? I contacted them by email as well and received a customer satisfaction survey for my effort.

I've been trying to register Visa Gift cards since Saturday 2/18/23. I figured nobody was working over the 3 day President's day weekend to fix the website, but it's Wednesday now. Can't Reach

Been trying to access for last two days with no success. Hit the link and looks like it's working but never goes anywhere. Sometimes after two or three minutes get "site can't be reached" message. Same on both Chrome and Edge. I called the number and finally got through to a live rep who told me they have no report! Not working February 2023

I have been trying for 2 straight days to access both the Visa and MC websites of giftcardmall (Blackhawk Network/MetaBank) and have not pulled up their website complete. I have have received a skeleton page a couple of times but none of the inputs allow input. Their phone # still works but good luck reaching a live human. It seems they could at least post a message to come up saying website down or out of service or have a message on the phone saying it is down.

Used to be that this was better than Vanilla Visa, whose website never seemed to work correctly on PC, now the roles are flipped. I'm very short on money and have resorted to scrounging some old cards I have for dollars but mygift.giftcardmall.com won't load at all (but the useless giftcardmall.com landing page works just fine). And Vanilla Visa works perfectly fine but for some arcane reason Visa has separate services that won't accept cards from each other! Incredible
