Access Denied by S.P.

I have been denied access to Scottish Power website and cannot login in, since June 2021.
I cannot speak to anyone, I cannot email SP, I cannot use the SP Chat button, I cannot phone. Very frustrating.
It is not my fault so I am not prepared to pay an outside company when it is SP problem.

How can you submit your readings within seven days, when the site has been down form substantially longer? This one does not want an estimated bill, nor be locked into a Smart Meter, thank you.

Taken money and not put on meter

Topped up £20 and although the money has left my bank it has not been paid onto my meter. There is no one to talk to and I am now without electricity as that was my last £20. This is the second time this has happened and I had to wait 2 weeks for the money to be returned to my bank account. I’ve had enough of Scottish power, I’m definitely going to switch now as this company is beyond a joke

Website down AGAIN

Website not working yet again. Keep being told I have not paid a bill which I have paid. Scottish Power URGENTLY need to fix their website problems as this is not a service. The website can go down for days at a time. This problem is getting worse and worse. The demands for payment of bills even when they have been paid is also getting worse and worse.

Absolutely ridiculous this once again I topped up, hasn't reached my meter nearly 16 hours with no gas so no hot water or heating. Sick of this I have an 8 year old in the house. Site failure

What is the point of having a website that continues to fail when people rely on it to top up. Down to £2 on meter but every time try to top up I get "something went wrong" this is unacceptable as I will be left with no electricity and no other way to top up. Website of the year awards mean nothing if this continues.

Dreadful

So today the web site log in isn't working.
Changed my password and immediately tried to log in with correct changed password and it just keeps sending links to my e-mail address. This company has the crappiest web site ever known to man and woman kind. They don't care and don't listen because nothing ever improves or changes. You are forced to manage your account online and make online payments but then you can't get into the web site! I give up for now but dread when it is meter reading time.

Problems logging in to Scottish Power

Tried to log in on the app today, 2 July 2023. After a long wait tells me "we will be back shortly". Still problems after 30th June problems. What can't they put facilities in place to cope with high demand? Is it too much to hope for? After being asked to 'submit readings on 30th June' - what did they expect?

Rubbish company and web site

Tried entering my meter readings by phone yesterday and there was a problem. Thought I'd try online and it said I couldn't enter my readings more than once a day when they hadn't even been entered. Today 02/07/23 the site won't even load up and the wheel goes round and round. Chat is a waste of time even during the week as it is a bot and you go round in circles. Customer care closed on Saturdays now and they've cut the hours during the week when it is open so those working are very limited. They knew the price cap was changing and when so they could have made sure the web site at least worked or there was someone to ring if you get through that is. The web site is a dogs breakfast and has been since it was vamped up. My account shows my last meter reading as 2015! But they don't care.

Terrible IT systems and website privision

Site won’t load up. Trying to upload meter readings…. Their IT systems are poor. When I get a bill I normally pay it straight away, but I still get emails from them saying I need to pay it 8 days after it has left my bank. One time I did forget and received a email reminder to say I should pay it straight away or could incur a late charge. Rang them straight away and they had already applied a £10 charge the week before sending the email. Terrible company. Avoid

Why am I surprised

Trying to put readings in . Site crashing. Received an email telling me that if I want to give meter readings " click here ". This takes me to a screen that asks for my account number. Hmm. Can't access the website to get my a/c number. Found an old letter with my account number on it. It's 13 digits long. Keyed it in , only to be told that the account t number should be 10 or 11 digits. Given up now

Scottish Power's website or server hasn't been working for a longer time

I am authorized person to manage gas & electricity account for my boss. We can't login in our accounts to report meter readings for almost 2 weeks. It seems that their company website or server has been down or not working for a longer time. They haven't yet well repaired it. I have sent an email to complain for this but none of their customer service advisor can reply to us. We want to say that their service are very poor.

Not wasting my precious time waiting on the telephone to be answered listening to the Bellamy Brothe

I am unable to put forward my monthly meter readings online, I cant access my account and havent changed my email either which I have never had an issue before with. Is this because we are being forced into buying a smart meter and I suspect tomorrow it will be back up and running as it is into a new month or I am i just being cynical so that they you can send me an estimated bill. I am not a happy customer at the moment.

I can’t get into my online account. I can’t find how to get help. Even though I’m on priority services I still can’t get through by phone. My bill is incorrect and it’s very worrying. Can’t find any topic that covers my questions and the chat bots are absolutely hopeless. Time taken to respond to queries is ages.

Been Ok, had good prices for some years , not really bothered that they don't spend millions on customer service of that keeps the price down, but then I may not think that if I'd had a problem is needed help . Mobile app is good, but the main website is unreliable and right now just shows a white screen

Mobile app works, but website has blank screen

The mobile phone app is working and takes your meter readings, but I also got a white screen trying to log in over the website on my laptop .

Having struggled for days to get past a blank white screen, I have just managed to sign in using Microsoft Edge - I usually use Google Chrome. I hope this might help other users!

I have been trying for days to contact Scottish Power because my fixed rate tariff ends on 28th February and they have given me no information about my new rate. Their log in screen is blank white - no way of getting past it. They are not answering phones either. I feel completely helpless!

I've given it one star because they supply our gas/electric. There website is a joke. I can't log into my account I just get a message, page cannot be Found. I phone to see what the problem is and they want to send me a password reset, which is a joke if I can't get on to the site in the first place. I shall be leaving them as soon as my contract is finished.

Switched from prepayment smart meter to monthly bills on moving into new house and they said they would transfer over the £15 prepayment credit and didn't. When I called they said they'd sent a cheque but haven't. Haven't got the energy to spend another 3 hours trying to get through to them...

Scottish Power app of the year ???? is only showing usage from 16th December 2022, we are now on 20th Dec ???? people use this app to manage their usage & budget. Useless

Tried to change password today using iPad. Their website seems to not support iPads - ‘easy to view’ webpage could not be resized to print properly, or reduce number of sheets used. Changing password did not work - 2nd link request stated link already used at first attempt to use! Onscreen keyboard could not be invoked. No web feedback link to give UX to SPower. V Poor

Rubbish customer service. My daughter has a 4 year old with diabetes type 1 and needs to be able to charge his devices. She cannot get through to put money on her meters on the app and just gets cut off if she tries to ring. It's very worrying.

I have received an email from sp saying click the link below to download the bar code for November's payment for 66 pound,but when I click the link it just comes up error so I carnt access the code to credit my key for my standard pre payment meter any advice would be great.

Tried to log in to my account with Scottish Power. Crashed - 'something went wrong, try later'. After multiple attempts managed to submit end October readings successfully, and it told me how much I'd used since I logged in at end September. But I can't 'manage' my account, so can't see my usage pattern over the past months. The website's also very slow. Apparently they're doing quite well in terms of profit, but can't keep the website properly operational.
