Watch TCM App Crashes

Watch TCM app continuously freezes and crashes. Will start a film then it freezes after a few mintues. Then the app closes. It's been almost three weeks now.

Movies just buffer

All movies posted since January 1st do not play. 2 minutes in they just endlessly buffer. I pay extra to my cable provider to ensure I can watch on my iPad and TCM screws up

What is wrong at TCM?

Once again tcm's "on demand" is not working. I am so tired of the technical difficulties I continue to experience with this app. I select a movie, watch it for a few minutes, and then it freezes. I get the "an error has occured"message. "Retry". So I retry and get the same message. This channel is part of my package, for which I pay dearly. Currently, I can only watch their live movies, and all of their on demand movies give me the error message. I have a firestick. I do not have this problem, or any problem with all my other channels. Why can't tcm get their act together?

Watch TCM freezing all day new years

This is the same problem that was happening at this time last year. It also happened in the summer. Weirdly TCM does work on Direct TV, including on demand, for us. However, it's not a great option as filtering and plot sumaries aren't available there. They need to fix the app. This happens way too often.

What has happened to my TCM?

Have not been able to watch TCM most of the month of August. I have tried everything humanly possible from a tech stand point to restore it! And yes it IS part of my ATT-UVERSE package. I pay extra to have the TCM app. What good is it if it doesn't work? I have tried everything that a TCM technician advised, to try to restore it, many times over. Have had numerous technicians from my provider out to my home. Still no TCM. I will truly miss it, and in particular, Eddie Muller and Noir Alley. But how much longer can I continue to pay for a service not being provided? Color me EXTREMELY frustrated.

FIX TCM APP.

TCM app. isn't working always authorization for this content failed this is for East West and any movie on demand...I can watch on my dish, but not on Roku app. It hasn't worked for almost 3 weeks. GET IT FIXED!!!!

I'm having the exact same issue. In fact, this happened last week and just resolved a few days ago. It worked for me for about three days, and then as of the 23rd the same thing went awry. What exactly is going on with TCM? At this point its the ONLY reason I still have Comcast/Xfinity. This is providing reason enough for me to dump both. I called the provider 2x about this and they've been absolutely clueless.

Authorization for this content has Failed

TCM.com is dead...I get "Authorization for this content failed" on EVERYTHING... on the Live Feed or on-demand movies. Why is it that after almost a month of trying to fix the issue by the TCM Techs, they have made it worse? Have they fired all the competent employees and are left with only the head-scratchers?

Watch TCM stream not working

There’s a banner message now at Settings stating that TCM is aware of the streaming issue, and saying that news of its resolution will appear there when it’s fixed. It’s hard to be patient, as so far the entire month has been lost.

Movies not showing up

I’m getting a blank, black screen for 99% of the movies! I tried all of them and none of them work. Newly added are scattered everywhere, they’re not in order from recently added to past added. I think TCM is having issues they haven’t discovered yet?

Movies won't play, error message

For the last 3 days, movies will not load. An error message comes up that says Retry, but nothing happens. The movie clips and host intros play, but not the movie itself.

Watch TCM App not playing movies.

Last 5days most new newly added movies not playing on Apple devices or Roku. 7 of 10 newly added tiles not playing. Same titles on iPhone or on TV through Roku. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app several times. TCM support says they don’t have any reported issues. They have mine!

Horrible website

I love reading about the movies on TCM online. I don't like waiting up to five minutes for the site and movie descriptions to load. Have emailed them several times and get a line of BS back about how they are working on it. For two years? The people who manage the website are either lying or lousy at their jobs.

Can't Select TV Provider

This message goes out to HOGAN in response to his issue. After you choose whether you use Roku or Fire or whatever, it should take you to a page to choose your tv provider. After you make your choice there you need to hit your back button once & it should take you to your login screen with your email & password. At least that is how I have to do it on my tablet. Hope this helps!

Cannot watch some movies on FireTV

Cannot watch on demand movies on my FireTV. Most of the new movie selections only allow me to watch the "Host Info" but not the entire film. However, if I go to the TCM site through a web browser on a computer, these movies are available to watch.

Unable to watch movies on TCM Demand on Roku through DirecTV

I have TCM on Roku through DirecTV. For the last few days I have not been able to get access to watch the movies on demand. When I click on them, it just shows an option for HOST INTRO or nothing at all. There's not an option to play the movie or put it in my watchlist. Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue? I've signed completely out & back in, but it didn't change anything.

Unable to add Watch TCM app to DirectTV Streaming

We just switched from AT&T U-verse to DirectTV Streaming. In addition, we have Roku. On the old U-verse box I could access the Watch TCM channel using Roku. I did this to watch TCM movies that had previously aired. With Direct TV I can add apps like Prime and Disney +, and while our cable subscription includes TCM live, I am unable to download the Watch TCM app through Google Play. What do I need to do to watch movies stored on the Watch TCM app when I’m not available to watch TCM live?

I'm in Maine, on Spectrum. The sound is down about 25% of the time here. It usually happens in the middle of a movie I'm watching. As of June 2, 2022, the sound's been down for 2 days here. All other stations are okay. I love TCM, but not with no sound.

The TCM app on my Roku hasn't worked in 3 days. I click it on, I get the loading jingle that ends with the grapgic "Watch TCM" and then the screen goes black. So I've been watching Tubi, Amazon Prime and Netflix.
