Washington Post app not loading

Same problem as many today. The Post app is not loading on my iPad. I deleted the app, downloaded it again but the connection only worked once before failing again.

As a paying subscriber I resent that the WAPO is continually not displaying correctly. While I like their reporting, their website is almost as bad as the DailyMail.co.uk

July 2 WaPo comment sections are not loading, same as previous the posting, I too only see gray shading were comments usually are. I have also left a message and a screenshot but no reply. This is not for the articles that don't allow comments. Today I made one comment, and then the comment section disappeared.

Same problem as everyone else. WAPO's comments won't load. You just get a message about a Network error, etc.

Wrote WAPO May 23, 2021 to report it and no one has responded. That's not typical. I've gotten a response from them when I've had a problem with their comments section in the past.

I don't want a subscription without being able to read the Comments from readers.

"Network Error" when trying to read comments ever since the update. Chrome, Edge, iPhone on wifi and on 5G. @ WaPo on twitter twice, unsurprisingly no response. At this point I am going to assume they don't want me to comment on articles.

I had an online 'chat' with Carl at WaPo today and he said they were having issues with the comments but didn't offer a reason or a time when it might be fixed.
By looking at the comment totals I see that some readers have been commenting so the problem must only effect some and not others. It's quite frustrating.

Washingtonpost website is not working for me. The biggest problem I ran into with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 - and I ran into it with all of the latest updates and devices I tested with - is the website nav bar. No, I didn't get hammered with some serious Internet Explorer Compatibility problems, but... it makes the navigation bar look like crap. Try getting some information on your page into the navigation bar and see for yourself. Personally, I use the navigation bar to navigate down through pages. As I get deeper, the deeper I go into the website. I prefer not to have to scroll to get to the top of a page. And to have a background that transitions smoothly from top to bottom and back.
