Woolies just close the online shopping option

The Woolies app is the worst I've used. Items were removed from the cart even though they in stock, then I searched and added them again. Address issues on check out. I have been using the same address for deliveries for years.

Please ask Checkers on how to run an online shopping & delivery app cause clearly you people have no clue on what you’re doing. Or maybe hire IT/software specialists who know what they are doing. Every second day it the same error message.

Too risky to use WW app

On 24/01/24 WW app had a technical problem in the afternoon.....they canceled my order. However, the hold on the pre'authorisation remains in place. Ww call centre says hold remains in place for up to 24.hrs and Ww online response which took over 36 hrs says "hold" remains for 7 to 14 days, ie for up to 14 days.
If you are a little tight for cash it is too risky to use Ww app.........use an alternative retailer's app.

Woolworths fiance department and customer care. What a joke since Thursday been trying to activate my acc and virtual card and between the finance services and customer care costing me almost R600 in calls and been told different stories and different people telling me different thing. So i finally phoned a store and what an amazing person who assisted me. Woolworths train your staff at call center manners stupidly rude.

I experience problems every time I try to chat to the shopper, the app has timeouts the whole time and say Oops, something went wrong. Very unhappy about this. Always at least 2 items out of stock.

Doubting trustworthiness

Woolworths food order expected today. Looks like it is late... no "your order is being processed" email received as is usually sent out and when I try to log into my account on both the app and website it says "timed out" tried over WiFi as well as cellular network so seems they are not online... but are they delivering their orders !?! Currently it seems to be pointing at... NO. Well I'm not home tomorrow nor this week so they need to follow through upon their promises.
