Indeed has become excessively intrusive, demanding personal information and not letting you move to the next screen of the application process if you refuse to give it. ERROR, ERROR, ERROR! It occurs on various screens and won't let you move to the next step for days now. Frankly, what they demand is none of their business. Now they require a code from your email to log in and then they make you solve a captcha. They won't let you delete info that you never put on your profile, they did. They are not an employment agency. It should be, 1. Apply to this job 2. Upload resume 3. upload cover letter 4. SEND. Like it used to be in the beginning. We shouldn't have to battle numerous phishing pages so Indeed can force your information where you don't it to go. Those pages are not questions from the employer. At least those stupid tests are gone now. They've made it so hard to use Indeed. I don't want my personal information online. Who knows what they're really doing with it. Here's a thought. I send a detailed resume and cover letter. The employer should READ them and call me. That's the way it's supposed to work. Instead, now I get AI texting me at 11 p.m., asking questions which are answered in the resume and cover letter and in the employer questions I already filled out! READ WHAT I SENT YOU.
