I am glad you were able to find the issue, it certainly might have been caused by an outdated or improperly configured .NET framework causing all the browsers to have some issue. The .NET framework does not stand for network, instead it contains software to run windows programs and could have been causing the browsers to run improperly if not configured correctly. Most likely what happened is the VPN, like NordVPN software changed some of your network settings/registries and it fixed the issue by unblocking the needed sites/protocols in the settings, in that case you should be able to play without a VPN unless uninstalling it reverts the settings back.

The problem is that you tried 3 browsers and none of them worked which seems to be more of a network issue, I doubt it is a problem with all three browsers if you just recently installed them. Try using a different computer, a different network or a VPN, like NordVPN .

An actual solution
1. Check if diep.io works in an incognito window
2. Check if diep.io works in an alternative browser such as Firefox, MSEdge, Chrome or Brave
If 1 or 2 works for you, then the problem is not on the server side proceed with the following:
3. Open developer tools (open the three bars or dots > more settings > developer tools)
4. Go to the Application tab
5. Go to storage > session storage > diep.io
6. Delete all of the items in there
7. Go to storage > local storage > diep.io
8. Delete only the following items:
permutive-data-enrichers
permutive-data-misc
permutive-data-models
permutive-data-queries
permutive-data-tpd
permutive-id
permutive-prebid-rtd
permutive-session
playwireAB
region

9. Go to storage > cookies > diep.io
10. Delete all items under this section
11. Close developer tools
12. Refresh the page
This worked for me 5 times already and it also keeps your achivements, nickname and gamemode which is better than simply clearing all cookies
! If 1 and 2 doesn't work, then Diep might be blocked on your network or down !
In that case, try it on a different network or see if other people have the same problem

The properties "_bodyBlob" and "_bodyInit" appear to be unimportant blobs (which is why they are not displayed here). The status returned by the server is 400 (Bad Request). The URL property of the object links to an external site, which appears to be the one causing the issue. Attempting to reach the URL "https://api-game.rivet.gg" results in the server returning a 404 error (much like the one from "https://diep.io" earlier), and going to the URL specified in the object results in the server returning an object, which states that CORS policies prevent the API from processing a method. I believe that perhaps the server that responds to requests for "https://api-game.rivet.gg/v1/matchmaker/lobbies/find" is down or has some issues, or that the API that diep.io uses is now deprecated due to CORS policies.
