WiFi is Terrible

Down since 12pm last night it's nearly 9pm the next day ridiculous , rang up eir over the phone the guy was helpful but only had it fixed for about 30 minutes and then went shit again Just 2 lights flashing on the box. This is happening a lot with eir lately and is happening more with eir than any other Internet I had, not good ????

I have been trying to login to myeir from a-non Eir internet connection and it will not even ,load the page, same with my mobile (thats with 3). I asked someone at work beside me to try and they were the same, even from their Eir mobile (when it was connected to a non-Eir internet/wifi), however, if they turned off their wifi connection and just used their Eir mobile, magic, it worked, they could get into myeir !!!

Eir outages

Eir internet very erratic in Ballyhaunis since Thursday evening. We cannot reach many pages, including email accounts or online banking. The connection keeps breaking down as well completely form time to time.
I phoned them yesterday and the tech guy admitted that there was a major problem. He hoped that it would be fixed by Saturday evening. I should phone in again if the problem persists.
Turning everything on and off is no help either.

I found one way to get a reasonable service: Use an "OPERA browser"- and use the VPN, like NordVPN . Suddenly everything works again.

Unsatisfactory

I'm in Ashbourne and have been without eir TV or Broad for nearly 2 days, and coming up to christmas. Ridiculous service. Eir needs to up their game , people are paying, not cheap I might add for this service. Seriously thinking of changing to sky TV and broadband. My friend is with them and never has issues.

I have spoken to 3 different people from EIR regarding problems with my Eircom webmail account. Problem is I got a message to say that my mail quota was vey full and to delete surplus messages. That is where the problem started. I commenced deleting messages but then the webmail went dead. I got in touch with EIR and 3 different personnel helped me with changing my password each time and it worked for a while but then didn’t work after a while. Each time I was speaking to 3 different personnel but it appears that I can’t hold on to my webmail account for no length of time and I’m left with no email account as I can’t login or receive or send emails. I am very upset with EIR at the moment. Can you help please ?

I'M glad I am not alone in experiencing the outage of eir webmail. However that is of little comfort to me in trying to access emails. It is an absolute disgrace of a service especially when you have to pay for it. Will they wave their fees, answers by post please as email not working!!

Recordings and app not working properly

Can’t watch 4hd recordings on Apple TV box and Eir TV app won’t play anything on mobile phone. Keeps saying can’t play due to location restrictions. I’m in Tallaght. Unreliable - even though I pay the subscription there are times when I can’t access the Webmail login page as it is pushing the subscription promo at me!!!! For the past two days I have been unable to log into my account - eir.ie will not load despite me clearing my cache.

My elderly mum (Dublin north) relies on telephone landline, have phoned Eir technical fault numerous times, they say it a "major fault which might take a little while longer than usual". That was 3 weeks ago and still not fixed. Also I have lodged a complaint no one has come back to me. . Come on Eir you have to do better than this!
