tried to freeze account due to data breach, two bureau's were spot on no problem, equifax just displays a pop up indicating a freeze is unavailable, but you can call our automated system. Don't, it's hell. Never did get this critical action completed and will have to wait till Monday when they are open so I can wait on the line for hours to freeze an account Transunion and Experian froze in about two minutes on the internet. This has been and continues to be a dangerous company. Two credit bureau's are more than enough.

Yes I am dead too, reported to FTC and made report to Texas AGs office. Equifax has closed all accounts and reported me dead and I am to close on a loan, had an 812 score, Equifax won't answer phone, credit karma hold time ridiculous. I am dead on Equifax, the husband an son are fine. looked on credit karma first, then on Equafax, and saw deceased and all accounts closed. Must have gotten hacked or a bad update. no answer of calls. Why do they not put a recording that the is a system-wide issue?

I was able to contact Credit Karma in India and they told me that they are having trouble on their end. I could hardly make out what they were saying. But could not give me more info, but was going to put me back in the damn telephone round and round tree. I have been on hold with Equifax for 1 hour and 50 minutes.

They are still having problems after two days of not being able to log into account with Equifax.ca It appears that the problem is internally and the supervisors do not have a clue to what it is but said that my account was frozen!? WI was told on the first day it would be fixed in 24 hours. The next day they changed there time slot and we were told it would take from 24 hours to 48 to find out what the problem was and hopefully have it fixed??? WTF! Not the way to run a business, by making excuses, pushing the date forward when it will be fixed and not just telling the truth that some one there screwed up or they were hacked!
