Hik connect app

My hik connect app normal sends notifications to my iPhone im 3 seconds since yesterday they are delayed by 1-2 minutes, I rebooted my box started working then this morning back to notifications been delayed again to my iPhone

The cameras are ok but the app is horrible. It would be nice to have an app for your computer as well.

Temporary Fix

To add local access, all you need is to click the plus button in the hikconnect app, while connected to your local home network, then click 'online device' in the dropdown. This should show you the local nvr or camera that is on your network, then go through the process that it directs you to do, passwords etc, and you should be wiz bang in.

I am not a rep for hikvision, just a young guy who loves security and keeping people safe. And my name isn't even Craig.

Hikconnect Server Outage and Temporary Fix

I'll say what I said above:

If anyone is having issues with the Hikconnect app, it is to do with the "Server Address" section of your network settings. It appears their litedev.hik-connect.com, litedev.eu.hik-connect.com, litedev.us.hik-connect.com etc are down at the moment for Australian locations.

I would reccomend adding local access to your hikconnect app, so you can atleast see and playback your nvr/doorbell/cameras while there is an outage right now. If you need help just reply to the comment.

My push notifications were working great and today 5 hours not getting them but the app if I go in it everything is there motion detection is workin just not gettin notifications help please
