System will not let me rebook my dates. Chatbot took me round in circles and then sent me to the same page that wont let me select a new date. The human assistants in Thailand are on holiday Saturday, Sunday and Monday this week. How can this level of service be allowed by any major company, or acceptable by any standards? Surely there should be some human help available when all else has failed.

Confirm seating

I tried to confirm my trip and couldn't. One page wanted the ticket number AND the booking alfanumeric code. The ticket number was easy enough. The booking code couldn't be entered from my phone because the keyboard wouldn't show and there was no opportunity to "paste" the code in. Hopeless.

Continual problems with their website, unable to book flights, unable to activate the new and “necessary” 2FA. Completely incompetent programmers, and their head of IT should be fired. Tip - don’t try and persevere with Lufthansa - use the Swiss website. Same airline group, same flights. However…..if you look at the current trust pilot rating for Lufthansa you may want to rethink your choice of airline.

BTW: If you are looking to book a Lufthansa flight, perhaps my example will work for you.. I booked the flight I wanted via Expedia.com. After I got the email confirmation - the one that actually has the Lufthansa booking code and not just the Expedia confirmation number... I went to www.swissair.com and click on the link "Check-in / My Bookings". Yes, Swiss air and Lufthansa appear to be the same company behind the scenes (I was able to log into www.swiss.com with my Lufthansa username and password). Once you enter your booking code, first and last name, you should be able to see your reservation. Not only was I able to see my reservation, I was able to add my seats.

For folks like Martha and Sam..... I had the same problem and finally figured out a work around.
I was able to go onto www.swiss.com and click on the link "Check-in / My Bookings". Yes, Swiss air and Lufthansa appear to be the same company behind the scenes (I was able to log into www.swiss.com with my Lufthansa username and password). Once you enter your booking code, first and last name, you should be able to see your reservation. Not only was I able to see my reservation, I was able to add my seats, add special meal requests, and also my passport & known traveler number for all passengers traveling with my on this reservation. Hope it all works for you

Horrific customer service, happy to ignore passengers who were stranded, happy to tell customer to "sort their own accommodation and transport out" after flight cancellations.

Customers left to sleep on the floors in airports so reps could go off shift without speaking to them. Mothers with young children allowed to stand around for 6 hours plus in queues. Appalling to the point of being the worst customer experience ever. 4 flight cancellations, 3 hotel stays and 3 train journeys to try and get home!

I'll never fly with this airline or to Frankfurt ever again.

Can’t upload documents, logs me out and says I don’t have permission to execute my request. Customer service keep you waiting, answer the call, but don’t talk…..web chat facility isn’t answered. Disgraceful service.

Online check in is not working either in iphone or in the website (impossible to upload file).
No notification email from Lufthansa regarding availability to do check in.

Lufthansa e-check in does not work on iPhone. Quite disturbing. As one of the major airlines, and particularly a German one, one would think this would be working smoothly. But no... Sorry. Disappointed.

The system does not approve PDF's it creates by itself. They are too large (>2 Mb) eventhough they are not (appr. 500k).

Please fix this.
