Panasonic Server Down?

19 Jan 2024; Looks like Panasonic Server down since yesterday. I've got a reliable Full FIbre Internet, (Wight Fibre) everything else in the house working ok, Except my two Panasonic TV's which won't now connect to the Internet. No YouTube, no BBC iplayer etc,etc. Other TV in the house - Samsung - not affected.

Youtube has just stopped working on Panasonic, loads of little boxes with crosses in, one music video with picture comes up, when you try to play it it just crashes, youtube working fine on other brands in our house

Last time this happened it was 24 hours but already 48 now! I'm glad it is not only me. I don't understand why panasonic don't say anywhere so we know. I got in touch with tech today and after tests he said the server must be down and to wait 24 hours. So I'll be back on to them tomorrow.

Thanks Panasonic, reset my tv to factory settings because I thought there was an issue on my end. Now can’t download a lot of apps like Amazon prime and iplayer because they’re not in the store? making my TV next to useless. Won’t be buying Panasonic again.

Working again now. I too wish I had found this site earlier - resetting the TV to factory settings was one of the things I tried, for no reason at all as it turns out! The Panasonic help page should make it crystal clear that a Panasonic server outage may be the problem. I suspect many, many hours were wasted around the country by people who, like me, thought that their network/TV was at fault.

Same here. Can’t access apps. Happens too often. Sadly I have only Panasonic smart tv’s so can’t use iplayer and YouTube. PANASONIC, sort this out or I will never buy from you again. Off to add a few reviews about Panasonic tv’s and their reliance on the Panasonic servers!

I agree with Graham, Panasonic reputation is now at stake. Staying away from home at moment, in a place which has a Panasonic TV.

Panasonic should be responsible for paying for the subscription to the apps that cannot be open as they admit it is their fault. Incredible that the problem is not only still going on but they don’t give an indication of an estimated time to be repaired. It is shameful

Same problem as everyone else. I reckon they will have it back up in a few hours it’s been off most of the day!! However if you can use your phone to connect to the TV as personal hotspot it might get you through the few hour/days it takes Panasonic to sort it out!! My personal hotspot is doing the trick for me right now!

TX48AX630B tv saying no internet connection please try again later. Rebooted home router but that didn't help. Numerous smart phones and home computers all connecting to the internet ok. Panasonic tv Apps just not working. Making Apps reliant on a connection to Panasonic servers is really bad design. Not the first time we've had this problem. At least I wont factory reset the tv this time. What a pain that is. Sort it out Panasonic. Your reputation will be toast if you don't. It's all about Customer service. When people walk away, don't be surprised. When they share their bad experience stories don't complain. Unlike Arnie, they won't be back any time soon!

When opening Netflix or Youtube the TV says there is no internet connection even though there is.
If I go into the network details the TV even says there is an internet connect (connected world globe).
Apps are not working nonetheless...

Wi-Fi connected but internet apps will not connect. Network error occurred please try again later is the only cryptic clue. Shame I reset the TV and Panasonic could not be more forthcoming with news that their servers/connections are down?

Same problem here. I have internet connection but when I open an online application it tells me that there are problems with the network. I suspect there is a problem with servers. Hope you fix it as soon as possible.

Panasonic TX50DX700B here. Netflix not loading nor bbc iplayer, just get told the tv isn't connected to the internet. ITVHUB, My5 and All4 all seem fine. Wish I'd found this before I'd factory reset my TV and reset everything!

Apps not working here too - can get Freeview play. Have no network problems - reconnected 5 times for fun. You'd have thought some messaging from Panasonic to say their server was down would be available when this occurs :(

This has happened before. The backend infra at Panasonic will be down.
It’s not you internet connection nor the setup of the TV or anything else.
Just have to wait for Panasonic to fix it at their end.

Can’t open any app on my viera TV. Been told it is an outage by costumer service but it is now 5:30 pm and no sign to be resolved. TV keeps saying needs to be connected to internet. I connected probably over 20 times always successfully. One very frustrating day

No smart tv apps are working on my panasonic TVs, says network connection problem, but netflix apps and youtube work fine on other devices on same network. I joined TV to alternate wifi dongle network from via other provider, still didn't work. Panasonic Tv seems to phone home before using apps, and if cant reach home then just declares network broken. I should have bought a sony..

55HZ2000. Netflix works. YouTube and Prime pop up the network connection dialogue and will not function. Clearly the network is connected or Netflix wouldn't work. Panasonic, kindly fix you server problems now. Apps should not be held hostage by your servers. Prime is prime. YouTube is YouTube. Get out of the way.
