Terrible service. Their App has been down for too long for a major mortgage company. Can't make a payment unless you call in now or mail a check. Same excuse under everyone's review. The update crashed an easy App to use.

I was in the hospital with covid and complications from covid. Jan 23, 2022 I was life flighted out of Ketchikan AK to Anchorage AK, 775 miles away and no cell phone. I had large blood clots in my heart and lungs. I was in critical condition. So, after heart surgery I have lost part of my right lung.
Now I was 30 days late JAN and FEB with my house payment. As my wife tried to figure out our finances. While we were over 700 miles apart. Penny Mac was not understanding at all and would not remove negative remarks from my credit report. All of my other creditors helped me out by removing the negative reports on my credit record.
PennyMac is the only negative remarks on my credit record. My credit score is over 750 right now. They are not understanding at all. Even with proof.

I'm a 100% P&T disabled veteran. I currently live in a three-story house, and now I am unable to get a loan for a home, that does not have stairs and the other ADA things I need, because of the remarks from Penny Mac. I have to wait a year to move, no one will give me a loan until then. Here in Ketchikan AK, there are very few medical facilities to meet my medical needs.

Why is this the same problem every month? Every single month the day before the first day of the month, or the first day of the month we can’t make a payment… so we sit on the phone for an hour waiting in a queue. Seems like it’s a scheme to charge extra interest every single month.

Paying my mortgage, Pennymac website is still down since at least Jan 31st. If you call, you're charged a fee. If you're late (even if its their issue) you're charged a fee. . . Incredible!

I cleared my Cache and cookies, after not being able to log in and instead fall onto an error/maintained page. That worked for me. But I shouldn't have to do this every time I need to log in to pay my mortgage. It's ridiculous and very inconvenient for me.
PennyMac fix your shit, or go back to the older website before it was updated/re-done. This new version has been nothing but issues.

Index page is up (pennymacusa.com). I was able to login earlier today ~ 10:00 AM EDT (mypennymac.pennymacusa.com/account/login), but the one-time payment application returned a 502 gateway error. Currently (~ 6:45 PM EDT) attempts to login are met with an 'unexpectedly offline' page, indicating likely unplanned maintenance/troubleshooting.

Every Single MONTH when it comes time to pay my mortgage - the website glitches. Now, I am unable to pay my mortgage at all. The error "502 Bad Gateway" appears. I have used a laptop on wifi and cellphone on cellular data. Nothing. How am I expected to pay??? It is as if I am being forced to participate in autopay.
