Site failing to add-on additional vehicles to policy

Site doesnt complete transactions to add another vehicle.'called their staff and they are confirming same issue for them as well for any user wishing to add vehicles since yesterday 7/15/2024.

Just got off of Progressive customer service was told that , they did not have the banking information that I had used for the last 12 years. When I pulled up old confirmation emails stating the same payment info I was told that they did not have that information. When I asked the rep if they had been hacked he repeated that they did have the information and that I had manually placed that information NOPE they been hacked.

Its not just progressive, there are severs all across the country downed for all kinds of services. Video games, streaming, banking. Check out the Cyberthreat Kaspersky real-time map and see how much traffic we're getting from *certain* countries right now. Likewise we're doing it in return. It happens occasionally and will subside.

I need yo be able to see my information so I can get my sr22 into the dmv, because I want to see my family on Easter. Why wouldn't the app allow me to see my info without server connection like I understand not getting updated info. This is not what I would expect from a big insurance brand.

Unable to add new vehicle to my policy nor get license plate, registration etc.. All day I've tried to handle business with my new car but unable to reach a live person over the phone, I was on hold for over an hour and then the phone made a loud static noise and hung up!!! Of course after numerous calls the same out come. Unable to access my app or online account as well. This is unacceptable for an insurance company. I've checked my email and I do not have any emails from Progressive explaining what is going on out of courtesy but I receive an email every month reminding me of when my payment will be deducted from my bank account.. We need to be accommodated appropriately for the inconvenience! I've already started to call State Farm and All State. I'm looking into switching to an more responsive company asap.

I don't normally down a company but insurance is something I am forced to be able to access only a few times a year. When I can't access through the app, website, or by phone it creates a huge issue. Then lying about it playing it off as scheduled maintenance. If it's truly scheduled maintenance in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and you didn't have a backup plane scheduled at the same time, that tells me you're a completely inept company. Can I really trust a company that can't know scheduled maintenance that is going to take down their entire system in the middle of the day is going to be there when I need them? I can't take that risk. But it's actually worse if they just posted it's scheduled maintenance and are lying about it. If I can't trust you to be honest about an issue you're having, how can I expect you to be honest with me when I'm having an issue. And then on top of it be dumb enough not to realize these 2 scenario's are the only 2 outcomes possible when you decide to post down for scheduled maintenance on your app, website and phone recording.

Sorry, the app was easy to use, but if I cannot trust you to be there or honest about why you're not there when I need you, I can't trust doing business with you. I am now shopping for other insurance.
