Not blocked by the British but geographically to get to it we are routed through EU servers so we inevitably suffer their blanket ban too.

Sorry I should've added below - That I tested all those browsers from the same IP/DNS combo and only Chromium would connect. It makes sense that Opera would work too as reported by another user because it's a Chromium based browser.

Okay I have some test results:
- Firefox won't open the site (even TOR browser bundle usually won't)
-Chromium Browser WILL OPEN THE SITE - even with various DNS servers tested.
- Chrome likely won't work either

It looks like there's some sort of browser level blocking going on here. I've bounced around from IP to IP (country to country), edited my hosts file, changed DNS.... mostly to no avail. I get lucky with TOR browser bundle maybe 1/50 tries (new identity each time).

But CHROMIUM seems to be working right now from where I am (Canada).

it is getting even stranger here, i have 4 pc's running via a router, three of them won't show rt.com and one is , so tell me it is not pc related , browsers are updated to the latest , win7 pc wont show , win10 pc ->one is showing rt and sputnik , other doesn't

I could access RT through the app until today (I am in the EU). Now it's gone. I will have to Tor my way in I guess. It's practically impossible to find unbiased media. So I like to read the West version of things and the Russian version of the story. I figure the actual truth is somewhere in the middle. Problem is, each coin has two sides, and personally, when I only have access to one of them, I always lean towards the other one, the one that is being silenced. When North Korea, China and Russia blocked the media we called them "dictatures" and cried outrage. And now we are doing the same. By our own definition, it makes the EU a dictature too... I am sad, angry. This is wrong.

I have been often in contact with situation I could testify, Rt was by far the most accurate media,
The strategy of RT was to be close the fact as much possible, This was the main problem, it was very difficult to go against RT since deep fact checking give them advantage.
The usual strategy of the west propaganda is to ignore and never cite the media.
But audience of RT was far too large.
So only solution was to show the real face of the Ademocratic bankster's regime and use censorship.

Having read the European viewpoint on many issues and read the US media versions of the stories, there is an inherent bias in such writing. There is also a bias in Russian presentation of the issues, as there is blatant propaganda in Chinese news services. It was interesting to read the Russian view on world events, until now of course when RT has become unavailable via the app, and most website content is also unavailable (especially images and video content).
Needless to say however that Russia has done itself a major disservice by launching a takeover attempt on Ukraine, which is causing Russia to be pushed back to the dark ages of almost total isolation, and the restrictions on its internet assets is just one part of that

What they don't seem to "get" is that intelligent people will take all news with a grain of salt regardless of source, and try to independently verify everything. Taking a cite offline or censoring it merely draws attention to the fact that if you don't want people to see it, then it's probably a truth that you don't want out there.
