Email regarding entity registration for LBN

To those who received the email about kamiya@n-messcud.jp regarding someone changing our Sam.gov entity registration for LBN... there is an alert in Sam.Gov that they are aware of this problem and to ignore these emails.. they are working on investigating.

Sam.gov down, now what

Ditto to the email from Japan as well as error 504. I’ve been trying to complete my registration renewal for a week. I also received notice that my irs verification was successful, now waiting for the final step to become active again… and now this,.. this is a sad, any recommendations to complete my process when the system is up are welcome

Got a strange email received from SAM stating "kamiya@n-messcud.jp" updated my entity registration. Then tried to log into my SAM account and I'm getting a 504 error failure. Cannot log into the website. I hope that they are aware and are fixing the problem! Sounds like their site was hacked!

same thing. got the message from "kamiya@n-messcud.jp" saying our non-profit's entity had been updated. got the same one for another non-profit i'm on the board of, but i *had* been updating our entity page, because our renewal is due this week; but message said an entity NOT on the board or employee did update. now website is down. tried to call FSD & said 63+ minute wait-time. seems like a hack ... not good for the feds or for the non-profits that do business with them!

Fake Email / Website down

Ditto to what everyone here is saying!

Strange email received from SAM stating "kamiya@n-messcud.jp" updated my entity registration. Then tried to log into my SAM account and I'm getting a 504 error failure.

I hope the officials at SAM.gov are aware of this and are already acting on it!

SAM.gov is down; entities were untouched.

Same thing here, from the same address....however, I was able to log-in to our SAM.gov accounts shortly after receiving the initial fake email. Our accounts were fine, but their website was having all kinds of issues, from logging me out to failing to load, to losing my username, to showing zero active entities and then correcting itself...I am thinking they've had another breach...

The email came from within SAM.gov, but obviously not legit.

I'm having the same issues as others.
After I saw this email I tried logging into sam.gov.

I am able to use https://secure.login.gov/account to access my contact login information.
Sam.gov is currently not accessible though. Attempts are returning a 504 Error from Cloudfront.

Same here. Received an email stating "Someone updated the entity registration for {{LBN}}". Never heard of the entity name or the email listed for the individual who made the "updates". I also cant get sam.gov to load now either.

verify your id technical difficulties.

I recently created an entity and received my uei... I keep trying to verify my id, 2/9/23 it said images were blurry and only had 3 attempts left. 2/13/23 I scanned my id with the best machine I could get my hands on and now its saying they're having technical difficulties.... smh

I have had the same problem as Jacob--none of my saved searches work anymore. In fact, no searching of any kind works anymore. I called FSD 4 days ago and they said they had an open ticket for this problem already, for awhile, but no idea how long this will keep going on for. Completely unacceptable.

Does anybody use he saved search features used for searching solicitations? I have had a number of reports that worked fine over the last year, then suddenly stopped working. The FSD (Federal Service Desk) reports the issue, and SAM.gov's solution is to recommend work arounds instead of actually fixing the issues. The "work arounds" aren't practical and don't work either. Today, there reporting system stopped providing the POC contact information and Set-Aside codes. Even if the SAM.gov desk is actually being run by ServiceNow, it is still GSA's responsibility to ensure that the quality of service is maintained. Also, they say that the "Official U.S. Government Website is 100% Free." I'm fairly certain that U.S. taxpayer dollars are paying their salaries.

Horrible. The only help you get is through email after starting an incident report, but then the back and forth email process is like talking to a brick wall. I’ve sent the correct paperwork they’ve asked for for over a month now and they keep asking for paperwork and then closing the ticket without anyone looking at the paperwork. Frustrating.

Sam.gov is a mess. Need to renew, but their system won't send Auth codes to my listed number. There is no way to change/add a new phone for auth. If you can't get authenticated by a few methods, you will need to delete your account and start over. Support sends generic auto responses and no personal service.
