These DDOS attacks are pathetic...

This is pathetic with these DDOS attacks on a community where you can freely express yourself, and not be attacked by others... whereas if we say something to somebody (friends, parents, coworkers, etc), we are treated like shit, and being told to "get over it".

Thanks to SaSu, I'm alive a lot longer than I would have been had it not existed. Before I found SaSu, it was people around me driving me to the point of suicide.

So apparently, since we have to visit this site to keep our own sanity, and to be able to talk freely, we are once again bastardized by these do-gooders.

And the last thing to mention... These do-gooders will infiltrate the site, and all they look at are people in the suicide discussion section, they don't visit the recovery section. They can care less about those who have found a better path through the site, they just want to make it seem like everyone on the site are evil people.

How is getting rid of a community “helpful”?

It seems the self righteous don’t like people having free speech and don’t want people to be able to express how they feel.

Do fools actually believe that by restricting people who are feeling down and even suicidal, access to a community that will prevent those individuals feeling the way they do?

Those who think they are “helping” are often delusional. It’s egotistic to believe you personally have some magic power to “help” people.

Instead of attacking a website, take a look at the part you personally played in making peoples reality unbearable.

If you truly want to help. Then actually help. Not by making the Internet the way you want it. Help by trying to make the world a better place in which those at their lowest wouldn’t even need a website to find some comfort.

SITE DOWN FOR EVERYONE

The site has was down for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and all day today since about 10 A.M. ( US Eastern). The administrator told us yesterday that there are DDOS attacks again.

It’s honestly very childish. They are only annoying people who are depressed and suicidal. They aren’t helping them in any way. Plus they can’t keep the attacks up indefinitely…

Yes it's down, there's a website you can use to check if it's just you or not and for me it shows no-one on any country can access it. I really hope it comes back online.

Not loading

App isn't loading, just stays on the ss screen. I tried deleting que or whatever but still does it. Not sure what to do. I'll keep trying.

SS website down?

I really hope that this site does not get taken down,,SS is the only place where I can feel freely,, where I can meet new people who actually understand me more then the general society, SS is a place where I didn't have to feel guilty about these thoughts on my own existence.

Stop trying to force people

I keep being told the site is being attacked by “pro life” people. Just another group trying to force people to believe in what they do. Same reason belief in religion is falling drastically because you can’t just force people. They have to choose on their own. You try and force them then they’ll walk away faster from you….this world is not worth it for the types of people we have to deal with on a day to day basis…, but please keep doing what your doing because even if you get it shut down another will show up in its place….

I've been trying to access sanctioned suicide for a couple of hours already and it keeps telling me the site is down. I hope it's not gone forever, why do they hate us so much? Why do they want us to keep suffering trapped in this hell? Prolifers are truly evil.

Most likely a DDoS attack... SS went down around 10:10am and briefly came back up around 2pm (US Central) before going offline again. :(

Cant sign up

I cant sing up to SS and when i tried to enter a new email it still says my email has been banned. I tried to create an account just 4 mins ago and i had an issue with captcha so i tried again and then it said my email was banned. How it could be banned if i didnt even finish signing up?
