Sling player's [Windows version] requests to http://secure.sling.com:443 are being responded with "200 Connection: close" - so there is something on their side.
Contacted support and they confirmed that the SlingBox server is no longer maintained, (if down it will not be fixed ) and will be disconnected in Nov.2022 as posted on their website
The good news is that It still works on Android
