Stackoverflow website is not working for me, and doesn't load the hidden bug reports that I sent to Oracle (or other Java vendors). I really hate JavaScript, but thanks to Eclipse's strength and JavaScript libraries that works well with Eclipse, I can use Java and Scala to write games. I am working on opening an Eclipse-based website and teaching "continuous game development" to some students here at MIT (future game jams, I hope). It will take a while, but I'm trying to make it work (for me, anyway). I've already been in touch with various current Eclipse release managers (Erin Murphy, the UI person, and the small Java-focused team there) so we can build the tooling to ease the development.
