As everyone has said, over a week now videos won’t play, only shows a black screen, the flixer has changed their url many times from .vc , .tv and now .to , I’m wondering if they’ll be making a new website anytime soon maybe? The p*** ads are gone, as well as the 'redirected sites' when you click any where on the flixer website. But... an ad still appears in front of the 'play' icon, and it re-appears when paused. You have to close this ad before you can click the 'play' icon. Anyone else still have this having this issue?

I used to really like Theflixer, but this month (January 2024), they introduced an advertising strategy whereby clicking a link on their website redirects users to ads instead of taking them to where the link is supposed to point. This makes the site impossible to use since you can no longer use it to search for or play movies.

possible alterative

lol, everyone complaining here because they cant watch free tv....just kidding, sort of. but yea it loads the initial page but just sits and loads when trying to watch something. a descent alternative i used before finding flixer is "movies123.video" lower quality, but if your desperate, they have pretty much everything. Hope flixer comes back up. streaming that 1080 is nice.

I haven't been able to watch anything on The Flixer since last night, Dec 9th. It's been down all day today and still tonight, Dec 10th. I don't understand why it's down for so long. No amount of maintenance takes this long.

Slow, gives you an error if you try to play a movie.

The websites really slow and when i try to actually start watching a movie i get an error. Usually i dont have any ishues but today it hasnt been working at all. This is coming from finland if that matters.

Lots of crashes

I've been having issue for the last couple of days. Videos interrupted for long buffering, and sometimes when I leave the site and return to refresh it, I get "bad gateway" messages.

I was on TheFlixer today but when I clicked "Watch Now", the servers that would be used for watching a movie/tv show, (ex. Upcloud, Upstream) entirely did not show up. Can someone explain?
