Very very poor customer service.

I started a transfer of € 150 on 11 September 2023. I then received a email from them "We’re on it! 174467082 has been created". On the 15th there was still no money transferred and also no news on the state of the transfer. I tried to phone and was put on hold with really jarring music that seems to have the sole purpose of irritating customers so that they give up calling. I was informed that the waiting time would not exceed 10 minutes, but after waiting for about 25 minutes, I gave up. I then decided to cancel the transaction. Up to now I have not received any formal confirmation from them that my transaction has been cancelled, neither has the money been transferred back to my account. In the past I've had excellent service from WorldRemit, as the communication was clear and quick (within 24 to 48 hours). This time they still have not informed me what the current status of my transaction is and when I can expect the €150 back on my account. Friday 6 October 2023 I sent them a email stating that If I do not receive any notification within 48 hours, I'll have to start legal procedures. Very very poor customer service.

Sent money on sept. 30 to the Philippines until now it only says processing. Called customer service since sept 30, always saying technical issue. Customer service wait time for a call is over 50 minutes. And chat support is over 4 hours. After this will never use world remit again. Very poor customer service. Now, who is responsible and accountable for the money already deducted from my account? World remit saying it is the local partners fault. Checked with local partner and denies it. Transfer to Nigeria processing for over 24 hrs

My transfer to Nigeria has been processing for over 24 hrs. Thay keep sending mails that they have a technical issue and I will be updated in 6 hrs.

World Remit, Safaricom mpesa

I sent money to Kenya, mobile money Safaricom on 18 Aug. My account said the money was with the local partner. Safaricom had a technical issue too. Sunday issue resolved at Safaricom and still no money. Just lots of emails from World Remit saying technical issue and they will update in 6 hrs. The chat bot is of no assistance. Technical issue for over a week

I sent money with worldremit to Nigeria over a week ago and they keep telling me that there is a technical issue every 6 hours. It's ridiculous, I've messaged them on several different occasions during this time and they just repeat the same thing the text messages do. They can't even tell me when I should be expecting this technical issue to be fixed.

Notification of a transfer that was not done by me

Notification of payment to an account that I had not made also happened to me on 11th August. I was at a funeral all day and rest of weekend. When I rang them on Monday I did not receive an explanation so I don't know how it happened. Am worried now about doing another payment but am definitely deleting the app.

Same, but I check on my bank account and no money has been taken, however the person I supposedly sent money, just confirmed he had money in his account - received an email confirmation for a transaction that I did not do.
My advice- delete your account and ask them to erase your data.
