I always get a "403 - Forbidden" error after trying to log in. It says that my client does not have access rights to the content so server is rejecting to give proper response. Other seem to face the same problem.

Yes, SC is a free site and I am grateful for it.

But why does this site have so many problems when 99.9% of sites experience zero outages?

Are the owners making money off this? If so, we are lining their pockets with money because of our traffic. In that sense, we are their customers.

I'm not going to be especially critical of the owners and admins, because I am grateful for the site. But one criticism I have, is that the owners and admins -- including POKI -- seem like they spend a ton of time micromanaging the forums by monitoring content, deleting posts, editing posts, over-aggressively enforcing rules, and looking for reasons to ban people.

Maybe this time would be better spent maintaining the site? Despite the owners seeming somewhat competent, I don't know what their deal is.

Grateful for the leaks though, so I do thank them for that. I'm not gonna criticize the owners too much, because they seem like the type of guys who would deliberately keep the site offline to stick it to us.

Have attempted to Login a couple of times, at various different times in the day. Had hopes of just asking a question about the website's Maintenance Forecast. UN-Successful ! Research would suggest that this website Has NOT been Functioning Properly for about 5 Months ( give or take a few weeks ). Oh, tried With VPN, like NordVPN & Without, also With TOR and Without TOR. It is down in Europe too, VPN, like NordVPN does not solve it, even with Tor. It reports now: "your IP address has been banned" (even if they can't get my IP and also: "Due to unexpected circumstances - we've suffered a disk failure, which resulted in a 3 months of data being lost forever.
We're truly sorry for all of the lost account progress and thread posts, but we've tried everything to recover as much as possible.

We've took measures that will prevent this from happening ever again and we have temporarily stopped the pop ads, while everyone affected gets their things somewhat sorted out.
