Getting a vertically split window on Android tablet. Only the right half of the recipe page is visible. Only works in landscape.

I've been using this site for many years, and I loved using it on my computer, when I didn't use my cellphone much yet. Then smartphones became better and they made an Allrecipes app, which was great.... I still think Allrecipes is a great thing, they just up and discontinued the app in early 2023, and I'm so mad, because now I'm used to having the app on my phone and I barely use my computer anymore, especially for cooking, but now I have to retrieve all the recipes I saved from the website to transfer them to a recipe app on my phone... Sorry Allrecipes, but you lost me...

Website Failure

First I got an error about site being insecure ... Chrome refused to render it.
Now I'm on the site, but when I log in (successfully, I think?) it logs me out if I click on "my profile" or "Saved Items/Collections" -- I can't get to any of my content.
Just like Fine Cooking ... if you want your well-loved platform to be gutted and useless, sell it to Meredith.

There may be hope….

Apparently they have gotten rid of the app & focusing on their website, BUT you can use their website and access your account through that, and access your saved recipes there. Best of luck!

App non-functional, no access to saved recipes or search. Not listed in app store either. I was only able to access my saved recipes on web because I had saved one of my recipes I created on the site for dinner tonight to notes.
I clicked on my username on top of the recipe card.
Bummer. This site taught me to cook and I’ll miss Chef John.

Website down & all recipes not responding

Same problem as everybody else….very frustrating…!! You would think that the company (all recipes) would follow this thread & comment on what the problem is & when the site will be back up & going. Lesson learned….. I’ll go back to printing my recipes.

Down since evening of March 21st

I was able to use the app the morning of Tuesday March 21, but later that day/evening, it was down. I can't access the 'today's recommendations' on the home page, or my favorites. I've sent a msg to the contact info on the app, but haven't heard anything back

I cannot search for recipes in the app (iOS), just keeps bringing up recommended recipes. Tried to download and reinstall, but App Store comes up with an error when I try to download the app from my "purchased" apps...the app seems to have simply disappeared since last week.

New version Allrecipes disappointing - sucks!

I can't access my saved recipes - over 15 years of recipes! - and the recipes that come up on a general search are in a crappy long story-like format that I personally find uninteresting. Already downloaded a number of new sites, but in truth none are as good as the OLD version of Allrecipes.

Very, very disappointing! This just sucks & bigly. I'd have spent a day printing all my favorite recipes had I known they'd be gone today.

Issues logging in, printing, and finding saved favorites

I cannot log into my account from my laptop and my google hub, and when I try, it shows an "about blank" window very briefly and then goes right back to where I started - the log in main page. I can log in from my android phone, however, it doesn't show any of my saved "favorites". They all disappeared?? I use google chrome as my browser and it always used to work before. Also, I am unable to print out recipes from my cell phone - it doesn't even show an option to print anymore. From my google hub, I can find recipes on the website without logging in, and I see the option to print recipes, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I was able to use all these features on all my devices in the past.

The app and website have been plagued with problems for months now. Slow response time, difficulty logging in, certain functions don't work, and sometimes it hangs forever. The search function works really well, which is the only reason I give this any stars. Otherwise, it would be unusable.

All Recipes website is not working for me. My family has a slower internet connection. The recipes on there are especially slow, due to me not being able to connect properly to the server for the last couple of weeks. That was the only thing on that website that had not been fixed yet. I hope all those people that haven't gotten the new content feel even more content-free than they did the first time around. Because I have. The forums/forums are still great, but are annoying in places because of the high traffic. Was happy to see someone take a shortcut through the php)e flash. And until then, you'll have to use the website. And even then, this does not feel very fast, but just curious about your experience.
