Discover meltdown

PC recognized my user name and password but mobile phone didn't. After my first call to Discover, couldn't access with either PC or mobile. The second call to Discover may have resolved this. We"ll see but they did acknowledge that they were having issues. First time I've encountered this in 39 years as a Discover Card user. I hope we're not in store for more of this what with the Capitol One merger!

Will not tell me if payment system is still down. My card is denied and it is embarrassing, cost me atm fees to get cash to pay bill.

Total failure today. $35,000 credit limit with a balance that is paid to zero every month but the card was rejected twice today, customer service number only yielded a busy signal and then after a couple of hours a recording that said they were having issues and couldn't answer my call. I'd say they ARE having problems.

discover is down

I just got stranded with a cart full of groceries because my card would not go through. Thanks for the warning Discover. Finally got though by phone after multiple attempts. On hold for who knows how long.

Payments declined, No help available.

Three payments declined in the last three hours. I just tried to call Discover, and I couldn't get through to anyone. I think it might be some sort of outage, because the line says "Thanks for calling. We're currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later," and then it hangs up. I've never had that happen before.

My discover card is not working. Ive been trying to call only to hear a busy signal and no one answers the chat box online. I can view my statement and my past charges but I can't use my card. What is going on???

Discover is Down

Card declined. No text or notification via email. App says some features are not working. Phone simply says they are having technical difficulties and to try again later. I had to have someone Cash App me gas money because my paycheck drops tomorrow and I'm practically on fumes. I use my credit card to fill in the gap when this happens. This is ridiculous. No notification. No explanation. Nothing,

Yeah same here - Phone is a busy signal and card will not go through. Just says Please Retry and it doesn't work. Been like this for at least an hour on my end.

Total Bank failure today

My Discover card was declined all over today. Calls to Discover go to busy signal, Online help unavailable, what is going on with Discover today? Total Disgrace. Who needs a bank card like that. As soon as somebody will be available I intend to close the account. 2/6/2023

Had to call customer service to make payment. The CS Rep had to contact his Manager who told them that Discover's "System was having issues". Payment over the phone went through with no problems and even posted on the Discover website, but a "pending purchase" made 13 days ago is sitting in zombie land. Discover CS Reps can see the transaction but it's not showing anywhere on the website.
