Search Securus Technologies and Bankruptcy

I used to add hundreds every month to stay in contact with my spouse. Now I add only $20 when getting low for calls, messages, etc. I don't trust the securus app. I mentioned bankruptcy last week and just waiting till that day comes and it just vanishes. No reimbursements, no explanation, nothing. We'll all be in the dark. I'd start looking into other means and not put all your eggs in one basket. That's not being negative, it's being logical.

Response from Securus to a Facebook comment: "Hello, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry we aren't able to answer the phones. Our call center and data center were recently hit with storms and tornadoes. Our current focus this morning is ensuring everyone is safe while we perform some cleanup and patiently wait on electricity and internet services to be restored to those services. We apologize for any inconvenience." Wow, it's almost like a business continuity plan exists for a situation exactly like this. It hasn't even been a week since the last major outage. Also, loving the "oops sorry we can't answer the phones" as if they don't turn the phones off during every outage. I'm about ready to knock on some government doors and get this company scared for once.

I get notification saying I got an email from my inmate friend, went to open the app it just sat there on the loading screen spinning, I did that for a good few minutes and it said having some type of problem and try again try again twice and got nowhere, I tried logging in on the site on Google and it sat there saying loading, then after turning my phone on and off twice I tried again with the app and the website the app once again sat there and didn't do anything just kept spinning, the website said authorization failure on login or something like that, first time I've had issues logging in, the notification came in about an hour ago at 10:37 a.m. that I got an email from my inmate friend, very frustrating and most likely they're having technical difficulties again

This is actually insane. I'm fed up. I want to try to find a state rep or someone to talk to. Try to get some attention on this because this is UNACCEPTABLE.
