Edd portal issues not allowing me to certify for benefits

I went on the edd website early this morning trying to certify for my benefits and the edd website is not letting doso. All I see is this gateway error bull????

EDD PAGE DOWN 8.25.24

Same here. The page won't load to certify weeks.. it says 504 Gateway Time Out. I tried for 3 hrs straight. ???? 8.25.24 ... I need help. Please fix the problem. I'm reporting from SF in California.

Can log into EDD but can’t access SDI lonk/app

Specifically, I am not able to access the SDI link/app after logging into the EDD website. I’ve tried it on Safari, Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. I’ve cleared my cache/history and flushed my DNS… on a PC, a Mac, two iPhones and two iPads.

Not loading

Edd UI Online

'm trying to get in to my EDD UI online account to certify for my weekly benefits. Err says takes too long to download. Been doing this for 5 days. Cannot TeleCert either. After hours and hours of trying to reach someone I was disconnected. Very frustrating. Only have a certain amount of time to certify and am not able too.

I have been having the same experience. I started yesterday as well, but I will add I had this same experience in 2020, as well as variations of it in years prior. the truth is, this is common. I called my District Assembly Member's Office:

They got back to me and I was able to express my frustration and asked how and why this can happen so regularly with an inevitably needed service that all participants have to pay into if they make a wage. After the call, they got back to me via email within the hour. I filled out a form of release, and they are going to contact EDD on my behalf as well as look into this ongoing issue.

Perhaps if half of us take this step, it'll make the news, then make the social movements, then make the ballot, and we can vote to hold EDD accountable for what would be negligence for any private business entity operating in the US of A.

Call your local representative now, and take a moment to express your frustration and ask what can be done. I asked if "we" should all collectively agree to find a lawyer and file a class action lawsuit against the state, and was met with they would contact EDD on my behalf.

Again, if half of us do the same, they can't ignore this and will have to address it. I did reach an EDD representative at 12:30pm, and she said she was surprised I got through, that I was the 4th person she had spoken to today, that the entire system is down. when I asked if she could file my certification over the phone like in the past, she said I would have to use the auto-mated system... which is down, so no ways to access my account and certify for benefits and no human I guess authorized or capable now of doing it manually?

This is like shredding all you hard paper files before you confirm all your scanned back up copies are good. We don't vote for this lack of leadership, that's for sure, and leadership is what prevents the preventable, like no human resources to manage a possible system outage... call your local representative and demand a change.

Site down 6/26

The site looks new and updated but I can't get past the security question. I mean I know the answer but the site just keeps loading and doesn't show me the actual question. Does anyone know the number to call?

Lousy Website

Try using the new site on Safari or Internet Explorer - it worked for me and I was able to certify this morning. Chrome isn't compatible.

New Website is Junk

Same issue. The icon to log in is disabled. When you call to certify benefits using Tele-cert, all you get is info on your last check. Per usual, you can't through to a live person.

They decided to do maintenance on the day to certify for benefits and then the system don’t work at all not even telecert. They should have done a better job than put people through this nonsense. They could have updates through out the week but Waited til the weekend. Now people are suffering and stuck because they counted on that check

Frustrated

Been trying all morning to long onto the new my EDD bull crap.. says server has no permission.. tried and finally tried to log in as they said I could log in with my old credentials.. and it said my info doesn’t match there records.. why?? Edd.. why??

Down for FOUR DAYS?

Can anyone explain why the employees won't even pick up the phone? What is their game plan here? The least they can do is pick up and listen to us at their cushy government jobs when our actual lives are on the line. They already left me waiting for unemployment for a few weeks. I'm a special ed teacher. I'm broke over the summer and about to be homeless. This is why people quit education jobs. This is why LA has a growing homelessness crisis. I'm not ending up on the streets because they can't get their nonsense in order

Website still down

Website log in is down after a routine maintenance all weekend. It was supposed to be accessible by 8am this morning however it’s not of course. There are always issues with the EDD website.

Upgraded system

Oh and forget about even calling cause you’re gonna be on hold for 30+ minutes and there’s nothing they can do so with all the taxes we pay in California they think that they’d upgrade to a system that actually works or how about you hire these people that are unemployed and maybe will get the job done. This is ridiculous.

EDD down

Been trying since 8 AM this morning since they said the system is going to be down for maintenance and now they’re new system won’t even let you login if you do get it and then you go through the process and then it says server unknown it’s ridiculous. Obviously people need their money after waiting two weeks to get it now we got to wait more.

I can't even register to file a claim, I am getting an Error code 314 , sorry we are unable to process your request at this time, please try again later. Then it offers a phone number to call if you continue to experience the difficulties, which I have been experiencing for 2 weeks now. I call the number and the automatic message says" the maximum number of callers has been reached , please try again later" !! Grr how the heck does one file a claim?

Ive gotten the "not authorized on this server" and refreshed the page and then it goes to the password screen. It accepts my password then goes back to the original log in screen.
Was this a way for them to slow down paying out money?

jb-i had to do the Telecert Sunday May 23 @ 2-2:30 PM bcuz EDD website login page is not working. Must be too many ppl certifying. You can call 866-333-4606 to telecert but you will need your pin# so get that first. You must wait until the guy states all the options b4 selecting your answer to the questions they ask. It takes longer but it does work. It gives you your confirmation # so write it down.
