UHaul app crashes

try to open mobile U-Haul app, get black screen. Was half-way through cancelling moving help owing to no confirmation--have lost all evidence of that effort twice.

I was skeptical at first giving out my personal information to a total stranger but I was wrong. Hack West removed the judgment I had and erased the criminal record that always appears on Google's front page each time my name is being searched on Google. Uhaul Network down

Uhaul Network is down, even though downdetector.com says their server is pinging. Might be maintenance, but I doubt it, it's been down for hours.
How can a multi billion dollar company rely on a single server to control their whole network?? Ludicrous.

System Down leaves Uhaul helpless and customers SOL

Tried to get a 7 pin electrical connector installed on My car yesterday. Drove 90 miles to find out the systems are all down. No way to do a manual payment with cash? Really??? I drove 90 miles for nothing. Wasted time, money and gas. Very frustrating. I’m having to return today to try to get the job done that should have been done yesterday. Very frustrating!

Went in to pick up the part I paid for in advance and the store workers wouldn’t let me have it because the computer system was down. Like what? You can manually sell items or hand out a prepaid order without a computer? Big fail for a nationwide company. Now I have to drive over there again tomorrow morning but I WILL CALL before I leave.

System failure

Reserved a truck in okc to move 6 miles. Yesterday location called and changed our pickup location. Got there today and system is down. Totally ridiculous that this big of a company doesn’t have manual way to get us a truck. Now we are way behind. We have to be loaded and out of our sold house so the new folkes can move in. Uhaul is a big fail. We will get a truck but we are severely behind schedule and disappointed in uhaul service. No excuse for not having a manual backup.

Service down 3+ hours still

Reserved a truck on April 28th for today. Location called Monday and didn’t even have availability for one 20’ truck so location changed. Drove an hour this morning to pickup truck and service is down.

Roughly 3 hours later still down and unable to pick up truck for move that is a 16 hour+ drive.

Suffice to say not happy at all, as the company can’t even do any check in manually..have no electric in home as scheduled shut off due to move across states

reservation service down in house

Uhaul inhouse system is down for reservations, confirmations and check in -check out and has been so since 730 am ... unable to confirm if I can pick up my equipment for my trip tomorrow... confirmed outage by a independent dealer and the 1800 line

Try to call on the phone and you're connected with an out-of-state person that hooks you up with a vehicle that is nowhere near your destination you try to use the app and create an account and after 10 trys it still won't load it hangs up on step 3. If you can't walk into a U-Haul store and talk to somebody you're screwed

U-Haul website and app both appear to be down since the afternoon of 1 October 2022. I get certificate errors on both. I've used other sites, both secure and not, without an issue. Other "down" service sites are reporting the server down after pinging.

Well I guess when your system goes down it means all your system goes down I’ve called seven different locations six all over Sacramento California one in Chico California and all the cars have been dropped your website is not accessible so it must mean everything is linked even your phones not good so I don’t know if driving down to your location is going to do me any good but I need a trailer so I’m gonna give it my best shot probably should look into a better system thanks

sounds like U-Haul is a failing Corp, no reputable Corp Doesnt have a fallback system off site on another Server. I suspect there Comp systems are in major need of a upgrade and they dont have the money to actually get with technology in the last 10 years

It is an alternate pos which may take 30 minutes to fill out the manual contract. Not ideal but the only choice at the moment

I am a haul dealer in Washington State....system down since I got here at 7am.... My phone is connected to uhaul and is down as well. Please do not be upset with your local uhaul independent dealer as it is not their fault! We ARE as frustrated ad you are with this issue! Not only is your time wasted, think of the people trying to do their job and are unable to do so at no fault of theirs. Then to top it off they have bitching customers taking it out on us as if we had control of this issue ..

What's new? I've never seen such a large organization with so many internet issues. It shines a bad customer service light on any business that signed up as a neighborhood dealer. Pay your IT people decent money & things might improve.
