Their app is glitchy and buggy and often subject you to extended wait. To proceed to the next step. It is not always clear that you have successfully purchased a ticket, and I was a result I have inadvertently purchased the same ticket twice, but was unable to get a refund from airasia. They are notoriously stingy in that way. Plus, add-ons for baggage, seat selection, and so forth can double the price of your base fair. That's how they really make their money
