Ally Bank App Not Functioning For A Whole Week

Ally Bank mobile app has not been working since 3/1/24. A whole week now. This is unbelievably stupid. An internet only bank without a functioning app. Something is going on with Ally. They need to come clean about this issue. You're about to lose a customer Ally.

Can log in but cannot access my Ally account or anything else on dashboard. It's been TWELVE DAYS! On the phone with their 'service reps' every single day. They always say 'Our techs are working on it. It might be 7-10 more days.' OUTRAGEOUS! ►I have tried FIVE different browsers, two different laptops, emptied cache and cookies, temporarily turned off firewall and VPN, like NordVPN , and reset the modem. ►I found my correspondence with them from 2016 and it was the same problem that never got fixed so I closed the acc't and vowed to NEVER use them again. . . but here I am.

This an account that I don’t even use and I have a lot fraudulent transactions on it. They told that they were be refunding me my money after 10 business day investigation and now, I can’t even open the app or enter the site through any of my browsers. When this is done I will close this account.

They are trash when it comes to staying up so you can check your accounts and also every time the stock market goes live they are down so you can't use your investment account due to them blocking you out of trading for most of the trade day then coming back online. I am moving to a better Bank Really soon

Cannot log into Ally on-line or mobile. Called and waited 42 minutes to be transferred to someone and the HUNG UP ON ME without even saying hello. Called back and now there is a 32 minute wait.

I hope to hell there is not an issue with my specific account but how on earth and I to know????? I hope it is Ally Bank over all, I know that would suck for you but at least my accounts would be safe if nobody can get in.

This is the worst experience with a bank I have ever had! Starting Wednesday I transferred my entire check from cash app to ally by doing an instant transfer for $25 and didn’t see it until Friday. So Friday I was finally able to use my card and access my funds… for a short while. Fast fwd to Saturday i am taking my mom and daughter to eat and my card declines… and keeps declining! I call the bank because the app is showing nothing wrong. They tell me it’s due to a conversion and they don’t have an estimated date of when i can access my funds. Here we are at Sunday and still no access.

Just moved all my money out via the app which still works from foreign countries. But there are many things that you must do on the website and not allowed to do on the app. I will start using another bank account as my main account now. First question: Why doesn't Ally Bank allow VPN, like NordVPN s? Ridiculous and idiotic logic. The Ally Bank website won't even load with a VPN connection on. Turning off the VPN, the Ally Bank website will load normally, but I can't sign into my account because Ally now has blocked customers from logging in while abroad. What the hell?! Yes, Ally Bank has higher savings interest rates, but that mediocre 0.50APR doesn't do me jack if I can't even log in to move money from my Ally Savings into my Ally checking account to cover upcoming bills!!! Very inconvenient. I definitely cannot recommend Ally Bank for any customers who are abroad or intend to travel overseas from time to time. This is a huge inconvenience being unable to log into manage my accounts now. As soon as I return to the US, I am moving all my money out of Ally Bank and closing the accounts.

So far this month I have been on the phone trying to get my account unlocked FOR OVER SIX (6) HOURS. I have been in IT & Support for 45 years. I have tried 3 different browsers. No extensions. No nothing. Reset password at least 20 times. One supervisor put me on hold for TWO(2) HOURS. I left my recorder running just for giggles. Hung up after 2 hours. IMO the people can't even obtain the idiot level. If they want a payment I expect the same as every other customer and that is to logon and pay my bill.
