System outage for 3 weeks? Or something else?

Surgery scheduled for today, 5/8 I've had scheduled for over a month. Called all day Friday and Saturday to no answer because I was supposed to call in my pain medication to take before surgery. Showed up and there's a sign on the door saying they're closed and will contact once their system is back on.....
System outage for 3 weeks? And they tell me they have no idea who had what appointment and also the surgeon couldn't get in to do my surgery due to incliment weather. Confusing and shady situation...

Are you kidding me!!??

I called Aspen dental in Vermont to get a refund and they said that Their systems are down nationwide and they Have no idea when they will be back on!!! So I cannot get my reimbursement. Now I have to pay my credit card bill out of pocket or I get hit with A high interest rate payment..

News report says cyber attack

Hello everyone. It has been confirmed in the news on Fox 13 Tampa Bay that Aspen was hit with a cyberattack. "Aspen Dental latest victim in series of cyberattacks on healthcare providers" is the title of the new story.

Hacked for ransom &

I checked in for a procedure I already paid over $600 for and was told their servers are down nationwide since Wednesday. Ugh! They said it has never happened before and they would call when they are back online. I think they have been hacked and will have to pay some guy in Russia a lot of $$ to get their info back (and mine).

How exactly does a "system wide outage" go this long?

Been calling multiple Aspen Dental numbers only to get hung up on every single one. I even resorted to messaging their Facebook to finally get a response that they had a system wide outage and their ITs were hard at work trying to fix it. Just tried calling again this morning and STILL nothing.

Turned away at the office on April 24th due to system issues. Attempted to call and schedule online today. Phone busy, online appointment indicates office closed for maintenance.

Outage for at least 2 days

Tried calling yesterday 4/25/23 only to be hung up on after a few rings rather than someone saying they are experiencing technical difficulties. Went to office after work and saw 2 signs saying the office was closed because their server was down. Said to call today but same thing, hung up on after a few rings. Comments below show it is still down. Not feeling warm and fuzzy about my 50% down-payment in advance for upcoming work.

Surgery was scheduled

I had surgery scheduled for 8 am this morning. I got there and there's not only a note on the door about their systems being down but I went inside and they took my name and number to call when everything came back up. I was told the whole country was down. Appears it's still down. Maybe just maybe a list of patients and phone numbers and procedures should be sent to an email address so they can contact patients.
