Expedia website and the App are not showing upcoming "Trips". The website says "we are having problems on our end" and the App says "you must be offline". Had a chat with customer service this morning and she acted like she didn't know anything was wrong with their site, said she would notify their tech people. This afternoon you can't reach them by chat or by phone. Frustrating.

Expedia does NOT allow me to sign in

expedia is not allowing me to sign in. for some reason, it removed my previously stored password, and when i try to get to that page to type it in manually, i receive a message that i have been sent an email with a 6-digit number i must input. however, i never receive an email (despite trying 3 separate times over the course of 2 hours). been a member for 22 years and never had this issue. because of it, i cannot access much-needed trip information. expedia: get your (blank) together and fix it!

I try to book multiple flights at once, it all works until after I sign digitally. After that I'm thrown back to the previous page, almost like I didn't click the "buy now". The "travel insurance" money is withdrawn from my account for like a few minutes but then put back. Nothing else disappears from my account and I don't get an email verifying my purchase of the tickets-- since it doesn't work. I've tried both Oct 10th and Oct 11th 2022.

Booked accommodation - did not receive email with access instructions to apartment and attempts to sort out virtually and with a call were frustrating as Expedia could not contact the property either. Ended up requesting a refund and booking elsewhere. Based on this experience I won’t be surprised if there are problems with the refund. I am unlikely to use Expedia again.

Not able to complete any booking at all, just fails at payment stage - part random payments get taken with no email confirmation of any booking - then has to be chased via credit card company to make sure it gets cancelled. Absolutely useless customer service number which gives no option to book on the phone instead and the virtual 'agent' may as well not exist! Never experienced problems with expedia in all the years before - but something is seriously wrong with it at the moment!

I tried to a book a hotel and car last night through the Expedia app which was a 200$ price difference than going online, the app would not complete the booking, I tried multiple times.. when I tried to call I could not get through to a customer service rep because I did not have an itinerary number. I chatted online instead and customer service was no help they told me to book online instead but would not honor the price given in the app so it would have been 200$ more to book online than through the app or told me try again later which I did not want to do because there was only 1 room left at the hotel I needed.. I ended up booking the trip through Orbitz and paying a little more but it was worth it because I will never book through Expedia again after dealing with them and their poor excuse for customer service last night.

I tried to book my flight 4 times on the mobile site... Each time I press "book flight," it says "good news! Your price dropped from (price) to (SAME EXACT PRICE)! On Feb 1, 2022, my family tried to book flights for an upcoming trip. We used the Expedia app on my iPhone. There was a glitch on the payment screen, saying they were unable to complete the order. We didn't get any itinerary or confirmation number. Here's the kicker: the bank account was charged. I can't reach anyone at Expedia without giving our itinerary number. This glitch will be reported to the BBB and other Consumer Advocacy groups. CHARGED OVER $500 FOR TICKETS WE CANNOT ACCESS.

It's displaying incorrect photos on hotel listings. Every listing I've clicked into for hotels in Catania, Sicily - the photos which appear are for Ramada Inns, Wyndhams, motels in the US.

Expedia website is not working for me in California. When I try to make reservations at HotelsCombined or Expedia at noon I can't get in. The software seems to have lost my payment address and apparently won't let me get in at all. However, if I call them, all I get is "Thank you for calling the Hotels Combination Reservations service. Our chat team is currently unavailable at this time. You can call the Customer Service Contact Center if you need help." HotelsCombined was over $10/night higher than I would have been able to find anywhere else. I used Expedia's app and search and found hotels in both Vegas and San Francisco.
